Name: Ayudial Dreyfen(eye-you-dial) or Ayu

Age: 18

Race: Human

Class: Mage

Specific skills: Top Defense Mage in the world. Ayu started working towards being a mage since she was very little. She's worked hard her whole life and has achieved a level that hasn't been achieved before.

Possessions: Nothing too special Ayu clings to. She uses her magic as a weapon.

Personality: Basic outline- Childish, is always calm at troubled times, intelligent, sees things from a different prospective, snippy and witty when she doesn't like someone or something

Usage: Keep her playing around but not in a crazy way. She's a very odd person. Do that and I'm perfectly content with people using her.

((Ayu))

Ayudial Dreyfen looked out the glassless window of the castle. He head rest on her hand as her blue eyes swept the city below. The bustling streets were impregnated with happy villagers going through the street market. Ayu spotted baskets filled with fresh mangos and papayas from the Wet Forests to the south. She licked her lips, thinking about the juicy fruits. She hadn't been able to go to the market for quite some time now.

"Miss Dreyfen."

Ayudial watched the disappearing sun hit the horizon, the last light touching her face.

"Miss Dreyfen." a pause, "Ayudial!"

Ayu sighed and reluctantly turned her head around. "What is it now?"

She shot Adviser Pens an exasperated look. He grimaced for a moment, "Enjoy the fact that you're hear and not dead on the battle field. Your former troop was massacred yesterday by the Saquesh army. You're lucky I pulled you out."

Ayudial turned back towards the streets, "Can't lose your number one war toy, can you?"

Adviser Pens sighed, "You're incredibly lucky you're good at what you do. If anyone who wasn't as important mouthed off like that, they wouldn't have a tongue anymore."

Ayu rolled her eyes, "So why did you call me back and condemn a troop of men to their deaths?"

"I want you to greet the newcomers that will be coming and staying in the guest quarters."

Ayu gave a last look at the scene below her and slowly stood. She arched her back and stretched her arms over her head, "That's why you called me back? To greet a bunch of ignorant adults?"

"No. That's your task for now. The real one will become clear."

She walked out the door without a second glance at Adviser Pens. Ayudial made her way down from his quarters and into the main staircase that led to all the floors, still wondering why she was doing such a stupid job.

"What do you say?" Lea hissed, her tone almost as sharp as her blade. The guard trapped in her arm lock chocked and spluttered excuses. She released him, the force of her temper causing him to be thrown to the ground. She regarded the other guard and smiled sweetly.

"I have business with Advisor Pens," she informed him, producing the letter she'd received as proof of this. Galen had known she'd need it, Lea had a habit of looking troublesome and not telling people she wasn't until after they'd offended her.The man quickly moved aside, letting her pass into the castle grounds.
"Good work boys," she said, smirking. "Vigilance is key."

Despite the warmth of summer, she wore her seemingly heavy cloak easily as she strolled across the practice courts and through one of the servant entrances. She knew the palace, though she'd made sure no one in the place knew her. Such was the life of a rogue.

She found her way into the guest wing, and let herself into a room. She whistled--it was quite nice. Checking the room for hidden dangers, she moved over to the window and pushed it open. The view from the castle wasn't as glorious as she would have expected, this made her smile. She settled there, arms resting on the sill, and waited.

Again, the apprehension. The bustling crowds of the market parted as I approached, some of the younger individuals staring up at me.

I hated it. Being half human is troublesome enough; having a dragon for a father is just guarenteeing those problems.

I hoped I would meet someone who wouldn't push me away, hide, or loathe me.

Hopefully I would finally have real friends.

<Kaoli>

I took a bite out of the apple I had stolen. Casually ambling towards the castle, the messenger had said to come by a side gate, probably didn't want me going through the entrance hall and stealing anything. Raku paced beside me the flames of his coat toned down to a glowing burn, no one would know they were fire until they touched him and got burned.

Suddenly I stiffened whirling around I scanned the market. I hadn't felt that kind of aura since Mom had died. Someone else with dragon blood was nearby, and from the strength of it, it was almost a pure blood.

NOTICE
Okay, the DT is all set up with Keek's super patented StoryBook organization technique. So would everyone please go over there and post once so I know you all have seen what I'm doing there. Feedback on what you think of how I'm organizing myself is cool too.

If my brilliant plan works, the DT might actually be quite active once the plot starts moving, so be prepared to check it regularly. Hope that's not too much work for anyone. =P

Tamaru~

Tama jumped on the bed and began to laugh as Tsune shifted into a large form. A regular wolf, just, with furry wings. Tama hugged Tsune's neck and began talking in wolf tongue to him.

"Did you see that boy's face when he saw you?" Tama barked.

"Stupid boy. Thought I was gonna bite his head off er somethin." He growled.

"Yep." Tama yipped and punched Tsune lightly on the shoulder. With the commotion they where making someone was bound to complain.

I could hear you two all the way across the valley." Tama could remember her magical wolf mother joke.

"Nu'uh." Tama and Tsune would say at the same time.

"Yes huh." Her mom would laugh, with a voice so caring, yet strict when needed be. A mothers voice. Tama smiled at the memory and closed her eyes.

Soon after the memory faded a knock erupted from the door, startling Tamaru and making Tsune bark.

"Come in." Tama yelled....

Storm-

Storm walked slowly into the courtyard of the castle and looked around. She felt Crest fade out of her arm and onto the ground next to her.

There are others here, I don't like the feel of some of them. He said rubbing his head against her leg.

Relax, we will be fine. She smiled patting his head, she slowly walked towards one of the doors. Stupid messanger hadn't shown her where her room was.

Ryder-

Ryder slowly set his stuff on his bed. He looked out the window and found any possible escape that he could see just incase something happened. After he had done that he slowly walked out the door and started taking a tour of the place.

Hearing a commotion in one of the neighboring rooms, Lea suspected she wasn't the only one here. The noise vexed her, she had enough to think about without having to try and think over the noise.

Only a few minutes later, she knocked on the door.
"Come in."

Lea pushed open the door hesitantly, the image of a servant. She had snagged the outfit easily, and was unalarmed that she looked like she belonged in it. She had always been very plain.

"I'm so sorry miss, but one of the other guests has arrived and asked-" Lea had noticed the wolf instantly, but chose to pretend she hadn't. Her stutter was perfectly timed. She allowed her eyes to get wide and her lips to tremble. She began to wring her hands, fidgeting and looking at the floor. "That is, if it isn't too much trouble..." A blush rose to her cheeks and she lowered her voice to a near mumble. "Please be more quiet?"

(Yay!)

Tamaru~

Tama smiled at the girl. "Sure, we'll be quiet! If you tell me who you really are and what time is dinner?" Tama asked, seeing through her disguise easily.

Lea dropped the act right away, she really had never been very good at pretending to be submissive, despite how easily she could pass for someone common. Besides, she doubted she stood much of a chance against someone who had a wolf at her side, she knew animals often had instincts humans did not.

"Lea. And I wouldn't' know about dinner," she shrugged. "I'd guess they'll have servants bring it to you here--unless Pens is so desperate he'd invite commoners to sit in the kings dinning hall."

Having gotten what she'd come for, she let herself out without another word and glided back to her room, retreiving her things from the hidding place she'd found for them.

This was going to be an interesting mission.

Hopefully this time Kaleb wouldn't try and kill her while she was at it.

OOC: XD She's so anti-social.

The weedy messenger caughts his foot on a branch, and hit the ground with a thud. "L-lord?" he said, scurrying across to the fire and shaking his head. He turned to see a dark figure, creeping to him from between the shadows.

A cool voice trailed back to him. "What do you want boy?"

"Ad-Advisor pens wishes to speak with you at dawn... b-but you must stay as a guest overnight-"

"Drop the letter and go," said the man, slowly pacing towards the crackling fire. The messenger glared back. He hesitated for a moment before sending the paper hurdling to the muddy ground, then running off between the wood's low hanging trees.

The man, to the side of the fire, threw back his hood and kneeled to the ground. He picked up the mud-clad parchment and pulled it to his face. He had long, greasy brown hair, waxed with a greasy liquid. His deeply passionate eyes scanned across the curly letters on the paper, before scrunching it up and throwing it onto the fire. The ground trembled before him, and the fire roared with the man's anger. His name was Aedomir, and a spark of hope had just crept into his mind.

He was an outlaw, cast so by the king himself. He had been summoned to the castle, sleep by night counsel by day.

No. He would arrive in his own fashion.

OOC
Please reserve posts that are all OOC for the DT, that way we don't have discussions going on here. Though, had the question been attached to the previous post where your character is doing something, then it'd be okay. =P I will be checking the DT in a religious fashion, so any questions put there should get answered the same day. Now you all know.

Since it looks like the only person who hasn't posted for this is Maybe, I am am tempted to get the story moving. I will write up the post, it should be my next. I'll post it either within 20 minutes, or if I can stop myself at a more reasonable time (3-ish...so in about 2 hours). If that happens, people can split the post and have the first half finish off whatever they were doing before I went and made it the next day. Hope that won't inconvenience anyone.

Also, stuff like this ^ I'll start posting in the DT from now on, so if I say 'check the DT, you should check the first post to see what's up.

Lea settled unto the bed, contemplating her enmity with Kaleb. She never understood why he insisted on harassing her all the time, though perhaps he spited her for winning her foster father's support before he could. She sighed, wondering if Kaleb seriously wanted her dead as his numerous assassination attempts suggested. It was a sad thing, but the ambitious rogue was one of the few people she trusted, even if all she trusted him to do was try and kill her whenever he got the chance.

Not long after, she drifted off to sleep, though it was a dreamless sleep that felt very much like being awake--as she would be if she so much as heard a mouse breathing outside the door.

i think once every new ywser realizes they can manifest themselves into the quote gen by making a post about the quote gen, they make a very inconspicuous post about the quote gen, but deep in their hearts, they know they’ll see that post at the bottom of the page one day. (yeah, i see you mods. you brought this upon us)
