For some reason when I click on 322sivart's name on the leaderboards it takes me to a user named E11 who apparently joined in 2005 and has no posts, while Art is forth on the leaderboards.

I don't know what happened here, but I think all the little icons on the site crashed on me, but I can still view avatars:






I tried refreshing a couple of times and closing out my browser but none if it seemed to work.

What Ellie said. All of the icons are gone for me too...

That's because the directory will take you to User 322 instead of the actual person. The same thing happened with a newer user starting with 360; alternatively, I believe that's the case with any username beginning in a number.

The lost images were due to a temporary issue that is resolved. If you are still missing the images, just hit refresh.

The problem with usernames that begin with numbers has also been fixed.

Found another bug with the WriterFeedPad.

Gladius uploaded a colab novel of ours (which is rather large) to her WFP, and we found it went "missing" after line 770. When I used Command [PC equivalent of ctrl] A to select all of the text, I managed to get stuff past the line viewed at 770. So the information was there, just not showing. It should be noted that the text was uploaded by copy/paste; it was originally written in Word.

This was on her Pad, starting at her second. She's splitting the parts up into different pads for now, but it was really odd to scroll down and see the text go away after a bit.

I keep forgetting to say this, but on Tuesday (8th Feb) I got an email which I assumed was meant to be the newsletter, but it said "Young Writers Society - Page not found" in the subject, then inside, "This web page has changed. To see individual posts in updates please update your FeedBlitz settings. Please contact FeedBlitz support or the blog's owner for help." I guess the newsletter runs off a webpage but the page was down so the email didn't display the information, or something.

I don't know if this is actually a site problem, or a me problem... but when I want to submit something, it won't let me select a picture as a topic image. It lets me add the file, but there's simply no option that says 'Make Topic Image'.

I've tried using different pictures, used different computers and also tried it on different pieces, but the option is never there. It always used to be, but it's just disappeared now...

Hello, Nate! I seem to have a problem with my novel. Here's what happened:

Describe What Happened: I've just submitted a new novel, it does appear in my portfolio list, but when I click on the view novel button, somebody else's username appears as being the author. Here is the link: novel.php?id=193

It says "Attolia" instead of my name. It is obvious that it is a mistake, since the first chapter, the prologue is posted by myself. topic76232.html

Gifts are now unviewable on users pages. I asked several users in chat if it wasn't working for them (to make sure it wasn't just a me problem) and none of them can either.

Also; you can't see the badges' images on the info page.

Hey Nater,

Got a PM from a newer member this morning regarding the Upload Photo system not working. To be sure, I tried it out myself on Chrome and the uploader won't accept photos. The avatar uploader seems to be fine--just the system for the profile pic. I'm sure it's tied into the other photo/icon errors around the site, so you're probably already aware.

Similar issue. Can't connect to chat at all. Firefox Vista sp2.
