Soon after it started it was over. I held my sword against her throat, pressing in closer and closer to her major vein.

"Okay! Okay! I give."She gave in and fell to the ground, transforming into a small cat. I squatted next to her and stroked her multi-colored fur.

"You are still to weak in human form." I laughed. She purred beneath my hand.

"Wanna go see Jinx?" I asked. I stood up and made both our swords shrink. Tatu meowed in agreement. I smiled softly and took out the door. I ran across the baseball field, tripping on third base and bruising my arm. Stupid mortal body. I cursed myself quietly. Stupid cat demon. I ran into the dorm building, up the stairs, and into Riley's room. I stood, frozen. I had just witnessed two people who lived in almost different worlds, (Except for being a vampire of course.) kiss.

I tossed Tatu on Riley's bed next to Jinx and backed out of the door. I walked up the stairs and into my room, still awestruck.

"That was freaky." I stated aloud.

Can someone bring my character in? Please?

(It's a little late for me right now, but I'll see what I can do in the morning. I was kinda hoping for Amber to add to what I posted, but I'll figure something out later.)

[Riley Patch]

He didn't want her to leave. Tama tossed Tatu onto my bed before bolting out of the room. Riley smiled to himself then he noticed Beth getting closer to the door. He wanted to stop her, call out to her, but it was like he was stuck in one of those dreams (not that he had dreams anymore), with no voice. So he abandoned words and used his body. He rose from his bed and pulled Beth back away from the door, reclosing it. He pushed her against the wall. He really had no idea what was going on with himself. He still couldn't talk. He kissed her neck still holding her by the arms against the wall.
"Dont go." he pleaded quietly. He really didn't care either way what the administration tried to do to him. They were all afraid of him anyways.
"Riley no. I'm going now." she pushed him off of her and reached for the door knob. He held her hand until he was all the way into the hall before letting go. How did he get so whipped in such a small period of time? He smiled before closing the door then turned to Tatu and Jinx.

Tatu the cat~

Tatu stared at Riley with a bewildered expression. "That came about quickly. What is it? Mating season for vampires, or something along those lines?" She joked. Riley stared at her for a while, unblinking.

(Sorry...had to fit Tatu in to...I can't really think right now...sorry.)

Beth:

After the door closed, I leaned against it, feeling weak. My neck burned from where his mouth had been. It felt so good. I rushed back to my room and floated into my room. My roommate looked at me, suspiciously.

"And where have you been?" she demanded.

"No where. Just out." I didn't want to be here. I wanted to be back in his arms. I sighed and wonder if I would be able to see him tommorrow. Or if he would forget about me by then. I sighed in frustration. This was maddening. A knock startled me.

"Oh, hey Li. How are you? I haven't talked to you lately. Sorry I didn't respond to your texts...I was...preocupied." I sighed again and looked at my roommate.

"I was just leaving." She said curtly. Unlike most, she was human, and hated anything magical. She left us alone.

"Won't you come in Li?" I asked kindly, trying to focus my thoughts back to my guest.

Tama~

How is that possible? Two people. One a so called outcast. The other a popular. How can two things that are completely different, except for being a vampire part of them, get together so quickly? My mind was busy while my eyes stayed close.

"What time is it?" I said aloud and looked at me alarm clock. The time showed 7:26. Time to get Tatu. I stood up and walked out the door, down the stairs, and tapped lightly on Riley's door.

"Riley?" I called impatiently. "I need my cat." I could hear the acid in my own voice.

Rosso smiled. "Yep, I was sleeping all through lunch. So, what're you doing out here? Shouldn't you be teaching right now?"

"It's the first week back to school after the holidays," he told her. "I'm giving my students a day off so they can get used to the schedule."

"Well, if you've got nothing else better to do, how about fighting me?" Rosso said in a playful voice.

Ryouku smiled and got into his favourite stance, horse stance. (Horse stance is when both your legs are pointing the same way and bent really low. Basically you're facing your opponent with the side of your body.) "Make your move," he said.

Rosso jumped into action immediately, sending a flurry of punches and kicks Ryouku's way. He blocked each and every strike with grace and finesse, countering one of them with a light kick to the stomach. Of course, Ryouku's idea of a light kick could dent a truck, but be knew Rosso could take it.

"Had enough yet?" Ryouku asked as he settled back into horse stance.

Rosso wiped the sweat from her forehead. "I'm just getting started!"

(Sorry, I guess I didn't read the last post troroughly enough. I'll edit this one.)

Li

I nodded and shyly followed Beth inside.

Very polite... I couldn't help but notice. Someone I could trust, perhaps...

"Thank you," I spoke softly, my mousy soprano very delicate with my care.

"Your welcome. How are you? Are your classes going well? Making any new friends?" I asked. A slight breeze flowed through my room. I stopped shocked. Li was a unicorn! I knew that scent. It was...delicious! I stopped breathing, closing off all those senses. Vampires didn't need to breathe, something I was greatful for at the moment.

"How do you happen to be here?" I asked, trying to get to know this stranger. I always tried to be friendly to everyone, no matter who they were. Sometimes my friends thought that I was weird, but, I didn't care. I liked people. I waited patiently for her to answer my questions, my mind still thinking of Riley...

Li

So many questions, and I was about to answer when her nostrils flared. A vampire...she must have caught my scent!

"Um..." I hesitated. "Well, I'm fine. I'm enjoying my life. As for school, it's okay. It's not what I expected it to be, but I'm doing fairly well...I don't really have any friends, yet...no one seems to notcie me..."

I waited. Great; my secret was about to be spilled...

"But...the reason I'm here...I'm a unicorn."

Beth:

I grinned. "Of course you are. You smell too apetizing to be human. Look, I'll understand if you don't want to be around me anymore. I freak most people out."

I looked at her questioningly. She was shy. Then I had an idea. "Hey, do you want friends? Cause, if you do, you can hang out with me. I know a lot of people, and I'm sure that they would love to be friends with you." I smiled. Another knock sounded at my door. Surprised I opened it.

"Hey."

"Um...hey Nathan. Now's not the best time..." I tied to push him out of the room..."Please leave."

"Don't be like that suger."

He was drunk. I looked at Li. "Just give me a sec." He nodded. "But only one."

"Li, there's a window that can get you out of my room. Trust me, you're not going to be in here in a few minutes. Please leave." I begged her, not wanting her to get hurt.

"Please leave!" I pushed her out the back way, then strode carefully to the door.

"What can I do for you, Nate?" I said, purring.

He smiled. "I think you know."

I panicked. What should I do? Terror coursed through my body, and all I could think about was Riley.

Then I sensed it. Someone was scared again. I got the normal vibes but this one was more familiar. Beth.

"Riley. Your girlfriend, Bethany, is scared or something like that." I said. I opened the door, grabbed Tatu and walked out. I heard Riley's door slam and feet run down the hallway. I walked back in my room, dropped Tatu on the ground and flopped down on my bed. I closed my eyes and waited for unconsiousness to wash over me.

Li

I wondered what was going on, but when she shoved me out the door, I had no choice but to rely on my magic.

Fear. Helplessness. Lust.

She was a target!

I don't think so!

I neighed wildly as I suddenly shifted, and bolted down the path so that I could make a loop and charge right back at them.

But why? Why was I doing this?

She had promised not to hurt me. She had welcomed me. She had given me a friend.

And I would not let her down. I took off.
