I grinned, "oh nothing...." and I started trailing away leaving him behind. Snow started falling from the sky, "pretty," she breathed as he caught up with her.
A few snowflakes landed on me arm, and I shivered a little, "Yeah, but it's cold. Maybe we should go back inside."
"No! It's nicer out here."
I sighed a little, "Fine, we'll stay out here a bit longer, but then can we head back inside. We don't have to go back to the dance or anything if you don't want to."

I waited for her as she started climbing down, then, just a meter above me, she slipped. She let out a short scream, but I moved under her almost straight away, arms out and ready to catch her like how I'd seen it done in movies.
Unfortunately, the movies made it look a lot easier than it was, and she just fell on top of me.

I stood up, brushing the snow off my sleeves. Good thing I was wearing the jacket. I smiled at her, "Well, I was meant to catch you. But I'm fine - what about you?"
"My ankle hurts, I think I might've twisted it or something."
I winced, "Ouch. Can you walk on it?"
