"Wait, Djinni." i siad, hoping he would turn back and rejoin us. I wanted to question him, to find out if he killed my parents or knew the djiini that did.I wanted to know if any of them would help me on my quest and why such a strange group was gathered here. Then i felt it the pain, the pain that comes right before one of my uncontrollable bursts of magic. Last time this had happened i had ended up with a tail for two weeks. I dropped my bow and doubled over.

The girl, who was standing quite close to me, looking to be in pain. I realized what was wrong right as Nic said it.
"You should learn to control your magic," he said. "Do not let it control you." I grinned, knowing he was right. The only problem was, if she couldn't control it, innocent people were in danger.
The girl's hands were glowing with an obvious overflow of magic, and I knew there was little chance of her gaining control. Many of hte others in the clearing were beginning to move away, where they considered themselves safe.
"Concentrate," I said, standing up next to the girl. She would be able to contorl her magic, I was sure...it just needed a little coaching. "Focus your magical energy into one thing. What do you want it to do? Make it do that!"
I flipped onto my back, the pain writhing through me like a poisonus smake. The girl was standing over me trying to help. She told me to make my magic do what i wanted it to do, or soemthing along those lines, i had begun screaming involuntarily with pain. I tried desperatly to think of something to make my magic do.. but it could all go terribly wrong.. i could hurt someone, i just wanted it to stop.

Kit looked up and saw Kimmy. "What do you want?" She grummbled.
"I want to help." She told Kit.
"How? Nobody can help me. Only Mystic. The only problem is, is that she will only last half the journey for her powers a weak right now also." Kit said weakly.

"Let me go get help. I'm sure someone will be able to help her get enough power." Kimmy smiled, "I will be right back." She quickly got back on Crest and flew back to where the others were.
Suddenly the pain stopped. I realised i couldn't feel the ground below me. i was disorientated but i looked around and foun dmyself hovering a few feet above the ground. Suddenly i fell with a loud thump to the forrest floor. i felt sick to my stomache as i always did when these things happened. I knew not to stand up right away so i started slowly on my hands and knees then gradually liffted myself up to my full heigth.

I felt a hand on the small of my back as I watched the girl get up slowly. I turned and saw Nic standing there, watching. As if realizing at the same time i did that he was touching me, we both blushed and stepped a little ways away from each other.
"You can take the last half. I will carry you till then." Kit whispered to Mystic as she stood up and fell again.
"You can barely walk though." Mystic growled.
"I'll be fine." She said standing again. She put her hand over Mystic's back and in a blink of an eye Mysic was the size of a small kitten. Kit put Miystic on her shoulder and started to walk farther into the forest.

I watched as the girl slowly got up, my cheeks still a burning shade of red. I turned into a crocodile, the first thing that came to mind, that couldn't blush. I swished my tail against the grass.
"You see, that wasn't that hard, was it?" i asked, raising a scaly eyebrow...or where the eyebrow should be. I really didn't think crocodiles had eyebrows.
"You just had to master the concept of control. But, to avoid another outbreak like that, i recommend using your magic a little more often, or else it'll all build up inside you until it bursts, like it just did."

I was annoyed. I was hungry and annoyed. Where was this guy going? He said that he was going to take care of her, yet he had just walked strait past the hospital!

I wanted to talk to this Djinni. see what he knew, but i didnt know how to start. I put a finger over the vile around my neck holding the last of my mother's magic.
