Small toilet rooms are illegal in Halifax. It's a violation to have a toilet room less than 10 feet (about 1 metre) square.

It is against the law in Nova Scotia to display, sell or give an artificially coloured chick, under the Baby Chick Protection Act. Colour a baby chicken and you could go to jail for up to 30 days, or pay up to a $100 fine. Even if you give one to a friend, you are breaking the law.

I wonder, what are the reasons behind that? Haha. Human cruelty...?

Be on your best behaviour if the Queen visits. Doing anything intended to "alarm Her Majesty" is against the law. An adult who alarms her on purpose can spend up to 14 years in prison.

Do the alarm clocks go to prison as well? hee hee hee.

If you have any on Quebec I would love it. XD I may find myself there one day, and I think it would be adventurous of me to spend an evening in a French-Canadian jail, hah!

OK, here's one from Quebec.

In Lachine, Quebec, a woman was sentenced to 14 days in jail in 1993 for unpaid library fines. She had refused to pay the fines or to do community work.

You may not use a siren on your bicycle in a national park, but a bell, gong or horn can be used. In fact, it MUST be sounded before passing a vehicle or person travelling in the same direction as your bicycle.

If you're a member of the National Defence reserve, you may not miss taking part in a scheduled parade. The penalty is $25 to $50.

My spelling is wobbly. It's good spelling, but it wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong places.
