"You collapsed, sleep." He stroked her hair and then started messaging her neck muscles. "You can't fight it, sweetie." He said gently kissing the top of her head.
Caiden knew she couldn't fight it, but tried anyways. She didn't want to sleep, she wanted to pace. To think of a new idea for getting them out. Or contacting Slade and Brenty~who no doubt were coming up with their own comacozie run for getting in here and saving them.
"I don't wanna," Caiden protested, "we have to," she moaned softly and laid back against him, closing her eyes barely whispering, "I love you" before sinking down into a blissful oblivion.
Colt cradled Caiden while she slept hoping they wouldn't be found. He hoped Slade and Brenty would find a way to get them out of there and keep them from getting hurt.
He stroked her hair absent mindly. He closed his eyes for a few minutes and then opened them after a while. Everything was the same. He needed to go find one of the other vampires and drink. But he didn't want to leave Caiden.
Caiden slowly opened her eyes and looked around slowly. Her head still felt light but everything stayed where they should.
"Colt," she whispered as she reached out to touch him she relized he wasn't there. She sat straight up, her head getting even lighter. "Whoa." She pressed her hand to her forehead and leaned back against the wall. "Colt? Where are you?"
Colt couldn't stay any longer, if he went into blood lust again he could kill her. He quickly walked out of the room locking it behind him. He quietly walked up to the upstairs smelling for either of the other three, he got to the kitchen and saw one standing there alone. He quickly walked up behind him and bit his neck covering his mouth to keep him from yelling. He soon drained him of most of his blood and them impaled him in hte chest. He found somethign to cover his scent back up and he went down to the basement fully refreshed. To his horror there stood Brent trying to get in the door.
Caiden saw the door handle giggling as if somebody was trying to force the lock open. Caiden forced herself to stand and edge along the wall to the closet. She knew she wouldn't be able to survive a fight with a vampire. She also knew that hiding wouldn't do any better either.
But hiding came instinctivly. And soon she had managed to get herself into the closet with the corpse with the door pulled shut.
"Are you looking for something?" Colt demanded, Brent spun around quickly and grinned,
"Just your little girl friend." He grinned, "You see, once your dead, she's mine." He hissed.
"That isn't going to happen Brent, I'll make you a corpse before that happens." He hissed back, they circled each other for a few minutes before Brent jumped at Colt. Colt swung his fist around letting it collied with Brent's stomach. He hit him twice before Brent threw a skull jolting punch that landed on Colt's already messed up rib. It hadn't healed all the way yet. He winced and threw a few more punches at Brent trying to knock him unconcious, if he could do that Caiden would be able to drink, and they would be able to get rid of the other vampire and then try and get out of there.
Caiden barely heard her name being called. She knew it was from Colt and she struggled to get to the door. She found herself moving too fast and her head started to swim.
"Caiden!" Colt called again.
"I'm...." she called back faltering against the door, she barely managed to get the door unlocked before she collapsed to her knees. She knew if she lost conciousness now it wouldn't be good.
Colt shoved the door open and pulled Caiden up putting her lips on Brent's neck.
"Drink now, he wont stay out for long, drain him as fast as you can. He'll put up a big fight." He hissed looking behind him, she needed to hurry, before Brent woke up or the other one showed up.
Caiden could barely focus on what Colt was saying. All she was aware of was Brents neck being so close and the hunger burning her from the inside out. She didn't focus on his urging, just the throbbing vein in his neck.
The flesh gave away beneath her fangs without hesitation.
