I'm not quite sure why I followed Kenran back towards his camp. Perhaps because he'd seemed worried and preoccupied or maybe it was just one of those fortunate moments when making randome, instinctive decisions paid off. I listened as he tried to talk himself out of trouble but when the sea assassin grabbed him and pressed the blade towards his flesh, I whispered my spell. A shield sprang up between the two men, throwing both in opposite direction, the dagger spinning out of the man's hand and landing on the ground. But then, instead of encasing Kenran in a protective dome, I trapped the sea assassin in a restrictive one.
"Are you alright?" I whispered.
