Max

I smiled standing right behind Isabella and suddenly wrapping my arms around her, she jumpped slightly and I laughed, kissing her neck. "What happened to your ankle love?"

"Twistted it and got it smacked."

"Ouch, I bet I know what could fix that though."

"What?"

"Bit-o-vampire blood."

He could feel her eyes widen in horror.


Ariana

I leaned against Riley slightly, not enough to make him support me, but enough to tell him that I was there if he needed me. After all, I needed him, so I could only hope that he needed me too.

Valentina~

Even as I fell to my knees, I knew what I was doing was horrible. Dammit...why was I such a bad person? The sheild hit me hard, pushing me back a little bit. I felt the tears coming, and tried to keep them in.

"Val, please don't try to do that again," Natan said, his voice quiet and unpleasant. I looked up at him, meeting his cold gaze.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, pulling my legs up to my chest. "I'm so sorry, Natan. I tried to control it, really I did. I tried to stop you before you got too close...I'm sorry..." I didn't know what else to say, what else to do. "Sorry....I'm so sorry...."

Isabella~

"Sorry, shouldn't have said that," Max said. I turned to face him, wincing at the pain in my ankle.

"No, it's fine."

"You seemed scared. Your heart even raced a bit."

"That's excitement, dearest," I replied, kissing him lightly. "Were you serious?" I was sure Max could see the hope plain on my face.

Natan-

I watched Val carefully. I still saw some of the blood lust left in her eyes, but most had been overruled by sorrow.

Slowly, i let down most of my shield so it was very weak, but still there. It was hard maintaining a full shield for very long.

Still keeping my cold expression plastered onto my face, i turned to examine the rest of the group (I added a stronger back to my shield).

Isabella was limping and Davnix had a long gash down his leg, but no one was seriously injured. I glanced down at my arm, grimaced, and went over to Isabella first, leaving Val to whatever it was she would do now.

Velna walked over to Davinx once she was sure that Trent was ok.

"You might want to get that looked at, it doesn't look to good." She said softly looking at his leg. She would've offered to bandage it up, but that would be a waste of time sense he could just have someone heal it for him.

Davnix-

I smiled at Velna, trying to disguise my pain.

"Don't worry, Natan should be able to take care of it. It's nothing bad, really. Just a cut."

Valentina~

I watched Natan carefully, knowing he didnt' want to talk to me. I sat against a far tree, curled up into a ball.

I watched as Natan helped the others, healing what he could. After his arm was healed, he turned and walked toward me. I lowered my gaze nervously.

Velna-


Velna laughed, "That is more then just a cut, I figured he would. But you might want him to look at it soon. It doesn't look good at all."

Davnix-

I allowed Natan to heal my leg. He said nothing as he lay his chill, slender hands on my shin, muttering words i did not understand. As he stood up, i noticed a slightly vacant look to his blue eyes...as if he wasn't all there.

I blinked and he was gone, stalking over to Val. I watched him as he went with a curious, yet thoughtful gaze...

Natan-

I walked over to Val who was curled up next to a tree. She watched me approach nervously; her eyes darting to the side more than once. I almost smiled, but the anger than still remained beat the feeling down.

"Valentina," i said quietly, my voice a little harsher than normal. "I accept your apology, so long as it doesn't happen again. If it does, i cannot promise what will happen to either of us."

Riley-

I smiled down at Ariana, watching her eyes carefully. I leaned down and kissed her hair softly.

Max

I nodded gravely, "but I was only teasing."

"Oh," she looked dissappointed.

"I know for a fact that it tastes terrible," he tried to use as an excuse to make her feel better.

Ariana

I felt Riley's lips against my hair and I couldn't stop myself from saying "I love you."

And suddenly I wished I hadn't.

Riley-

"I love you," Ariana said softly. I smiled, but as soon as i did she stiffened.

"What?" i asked, looking into her eyes, concern in mine. I blinked.

Ariana

I don't think I shoulda said that," I replied softly, "it just kinda slipped out."

"Thats how you know its true then."

I tilted my head to the side and looked up at him confused, "huh?"

Riley-

I smiled at her again. "Try and figure it out."

I wrapped my wings around her again and laid my head on hers.

Ariana

He was warm and I snuggled closer to him, violently wracking my brain for the meaning behind his words, at the same time trying to keep my heart inflated as he hadn't said anything about loving me back.

We stood there for what felt like an eternity before he spoke again, apparently seeing my bow and arrow. "I thought you said you weren't gonna fight anymore?"

"Technially I wasn't fighting. Just shooting."

Riley-

I smiled. "That's the same as fighting."

"No its not." she argued.

"Yes it is."

"Nu-uh."

"See, there you go fighting again." i said, laughing.
