Autumn's Beginning, Autumn's Breeze

"I still have some lose ends to tie up in my past, just to prove that the demon was telling the truth. After I get out of this cave, it's starting to creep me out. What about you two?" She looked at Ara and Silvin who shrugged. Alise leaned against Gerard, "what about you? What are you going to do?"

*I don't know what he's going to do so...yeah*

Gerard

Gerard shrugged. "Whatever YOU want to do." he said, smiling at Alise.

Suddenly a dark figure loomed in the darkness. An eerie laughter drifted to their ears.

"Well well well, look who it is!" the figure said, stepping into the dim light...

Alise squinted, it couldn't be...no not him! He was dead!

"Damian?" she asked slightly fearfully.

He mocked a bow, "yes."

"But...but you're dead!"

He shook his head making a tisk noise, "no, I can assure you I most certiantly am not dead, I am actually stronger than ever." As if to prove his point he surged across the room, scooped her up and pinned her against the wall, kissing her hard, opening her mouth and biting her toung with his fangs. Alise struggled to get out, but he had grown twice as powerful as her.

When he finally let go she hit the ground hard, whiping the side of her mouth with her hand and trying not to itch her toung with her teeth as it healed. She looked around for Gerard-to interceed if they attaced each other- but they weren't there, Alise wasn't where they were.

"Damian, where-where are they?"

"Where we left them," he took her by the elbow and pulled her to her feet, "there is another way out, you won't have to say good-bye that way."

She yanked her arm away, "why would I leave? I'm not going anywhere with you."

"Alise, I love you."

If he expected her to melt at his declaration of love, he was sorely mistaken, if anything, it made her madder.

Gerard

Gerard stared around wildly. "Alise!?"

Silvin and Ara jumped to their feet, glancing down the tunnel.

"ALISE!!???" Gerard's yell reverberated off the walls of the tunnel.


*I dont have much*

Gerard's voice rang through the cave, they must not be far away if they could hear Gerard. Alise took advantage of Damian being distracted to hit him in the soft spot and run. With her vamp speed she was out of sight before he could even begin to recover.

"Gerard!" Alise called, letting her voice echo through the cave. "Gerard! Where are you?!"

"Alise!" an answering call, she ran in its direction.

"Gerard!"

Finally she saw him, she slowed down to a vampire jog (the equivalant to a human run) and caught him in a hug, finding herself inchoherint and confused and crying, "he's supposed to be dead!" she sobbed, "i thought he was gone!" She pulled her head away and looked at him, "we have to go, he'll be following any moment now!"

Bella was slowly waking up when she heard Gerard shouting. At first, his voice was faint, but in seconds she was wincing from the loudness of his voice. She sat up slowly.

"Are you alright?" Nat asked immediatly, looking down when he felt her moving.

"Yeah...my head's sore, but I'm fine. What's going on?" As if to answer her question, Alise came running down teh nearest tunnel, sobbing uncontrollably. "Oh Goddess..."

"He's supposed be dead!" Bella had heard enough. She looked up at Nat, locking eyes with him, and she knew he had the same idea that she did.

"We'll have to teleport," he said, standing up and helping Bella to her feet. "It's the fastest way to get out."

"We can't teleport far on our own, but if Nat and I combine our magic, we should be able to get a good distance away," Bella added.

Nathaniel

Nat nodded his agreement.

"Alright," Alise said, calming down slightly, tears still running freely down her cheeks. "But hurry. Please."

"That is our intention," Nat said. He and Bella stood, holding hands, and said identical magic words. Instantly a small pink bubble formed around the group, and moments later the ground began to shift and pitch vioelntly. They all spun around and around and around...

Alise, Gerard, Bella, Ara, Nat and Silvin all joined hands and concentrated. In a rush, everything around them swirled away into blackness. When their feet hit the ground again they were back in Gerard and Nat's home.

"That felt weird," Alise said, still not used to teleportation.

Nathaniel

Nat immediatly seperated himself from the group as soon as they landed. He went back into the bedroom, muttering under his breath.

"That felt weird." he heard Alise say.

"Usually does," Bella said.

Nat continued rummaging around the room for a few moments. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and whirled around, startling Bella.

"Sorry," he muttered, turning again to continue looking.

"What are you searching for?" she asked curiously.

"Book," he said shortly. Sighing in irritation, he got down on his hands and knees and looked under the beds.

"Aha," he breathed, thrusting his hand under the bed and withdrawing a very old, dusty book. He wiped his hand across the cover and blew the dust away.

"What's this for?" Bella asked.

Nat smiled slyly. "You'll see."

"This is a book of magical beasts, spells, and other random things," Nat explained, sitting down on his bed. Bella sat next to him, putting one hand on his shoulder, and resting her chin on the other shoulder, so she was reading over his shoulder.

"Alright, how's it going to help?" she asked.

"Simple. We need to figure out two things; how to protect the stone, which seems to be Alice, and how to stop Damien, who seems to be after Alice."

"All the exciting things happen to Alice!"

"Yes, but at least this way I know you're safe," Nat smiled at her. Bella rolled her eyes and reached for the book, flipping the pages randomly. "What are you doing?"

"I'm looking, because you seem to be quite content sitting there staring at me." It was Bella's turn to smile at Nat, who leaned back and kissed her lightly. It seemed like a rather perfect moment, even in the middle of chaos.

Awww...now I'M stuck! We have to figure out what we're going to do to keep the SB going. Keep Alise away from Damien... Protect her from demons...what else? if anything?

**Well, why don't we start with killig off Damien...he needs to die. Then...we'll figure something out...***
