*Sorry, I was hoping it wasn't to weird, if anyone talks to her, she can't reply, her eyes are a differnt color and if she sees a demon she goes into attack mod. Until all the demons that were in the group are dead she can't get out of hte drive.*
Nathaniel sighed and looked over to where Alise and the demon were standing, talking to each other. Alise's face was fear stricken and disbelieving, while the demon wore a smirk on its face.
"Nat, do you have ANY idea what happened to Bella? We need to find her!" Gerard demanded.
Nathaniel sighed again and closed his eyes. "No, Gerard, i have no idea. Everything logical doesnt fit. The only possible explanation is impossble and unlogical."
"But what is it!? Nat, we need to find her!"
"I know," Nat said quietly. "The only possible explanation would be...," he took a deep breath. "The stone has another power; one that i completely forgot about until i touched the stone myself. You see, when the stone is...found...by someone stronger than ts last owner, it will 'wake up' in a sense, as i already told you. But, when this happens, a lot of it's energies is released in one blow; one reason i'm so weak. The stone will use your worst fears and, if you're not quick enough, take those fears and make them real.
"I'm not very inclined to reveal my worst fears, so dont ask. But...i have a very sinking feeling that Bella's fears were..." he trailed off.
"Were what?" Gerard persisted.
Nat sighed. "There's two possible answers; and possibly the two answers. They are..." he took another deep breath. "Losing me or being tortured like i was. I fear that both of those fears may have come true...but it doesnt explain why she disappeared when i was only weakened when i touched the stone. She didnt have her hand on it any longer than i did, and i assure you that my fears are much, much worse than hers."
"And more selfish," a voice in Nathaniel's mind whispered. He frowned.
"So that means..."
"I'm not saying it means anything. Like i said, it's unlogical."
"But not impssible," Gerard pointed out.
"Yes, its not impossible..." Nathaniel muttered. He turned to look again at Alise and the demon before sighing and walking over.
*Ok TN. I get it now. Thanks.*

"What do you fear most?" the demon asked Gerard, a cuning look in its eye that scared Gerard. He unconsciously pushed Alise behind him.
"Ah, so it's the little vampire. You're afraid of losing her?"
Gerard swallowed hard.
"Now, what would you do if i were to...harm her?"
Gerard growled, all fear lost in his rage. "I would kill you."
He felt Alise stiffen behind him.
The demon laughed. "You...would kill....me!?" It said mockingly. "Ha, I'd like to see you try!"
"Gerard," Nat whispered. "Don't do anything foolish."
"And what would you hav me do? What's folish in your book, Nat. Tell me." Gerard rounded on his brother furiously, consumed in his rage.
Nat's face remained impasive. He laid a restraining hand on Gerard's forearm. "Let me handle it?" he suggested. "There's no way you could kill it on your own."
"And you think you can kill me?" the demon demanded, looking now at Nat.
"Yes, i do." Nat said calmly. Suddenly he threw his hand out, palm facing the demon. Nothing happened. The demon began to laugh again.
"Wha...?" Nathaniel looked at his hand furiously. Suddenly his eyes widened in fear and he looked up to stare at the demon.
"Gerard," Nat whispered weakly. "Nevermind what i said. Nothings too foolish anymore."
*There ya go, Alzz. Technically Gerard DID admit his love for Alise. I just had to ad a bit more.*
*For anyonewho doesnt get it, Nat's worst fears came true. He lost his magic (Temporarily, at least. Alice and I have made a cunning plan that wil be carried out soon.)*
Be the cartoon heart. Light a fire, light a spark. Light a fire, flame in my heart. We'll run wild, we'll be glowing in the dark.
Alise looked at the two brothers in stunned surprise. The demon seemed to be enjoying what he was doing to them and didn't look away. Alise shoved the stone into her satchel and lept at the demon. She let magic build in her hands buring his face. She couldn't see what Gerard or Nate were doing, but for this moment she didn't care. She just wanted Gerard to be safe.
With a burst of energy the demon threw Alise off of him and to the wall, her head smashed into it and then into the floor. Even with her vampire powers her matabolism couldn't heal her two concussions before she lost conciousness. The last thing she saw was Gerard screaming in rage and running inbetween herself and the demon.
*Sorry but its hard to post when my characters unconcious ~.^*
Seeing as there was very little to nothing he could do to help his brother, Nat ran over to the unconscious Alise. Even though he was still partailly in shock from losing his magic, from his worst fear coming true, he was stil in control of his body. He made his hand dig arund in one of the pouches he wore at his belt and pulled out a gray leaf and a red rose petal. Prying Alise's mouth open, he lay the leaf under her tongue and the petal on top.
Having done all he could to help her, he sat weakly against the wall and watched Gerard fight.
Gerard
--------------------
Gerard threw himself between the demon and Alise.
"You dare touch her," he said between clenched teeth. "Or my brother, you will die. I swear it."
"Oh, the pretend mage is your brother!? Even better..." the demon smirked wickedly.
A deep rumbling growl erupted out of Gerard's chest. He drew his sword and advanced upon the demon, his eyes blazing with uncontrolable rage. The demon grinned and walked calmly toward Gerard.
Suddenly Gerard ran forward, swinging his sword with all his strength. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth for some impact with a magical barrier or something of the like.
The demons head might have well been butter exposed to a hot knife. The skull split; blood and brains spilled out in a gruesome mess, and the demon's body slumped to the floor.
Gerard stared in wonder at his sword, now covered in stick red blood. It was glowing a faint blue color. Gerard turned to look over at Alise; the pouch she had tied around her waist was glowing the same color blue.
Or maybe it wasnt the pouch, but her heart.
Be the cartoon heart. Light a fire, light a spark. Light a fire, flame in my heart. We'll run wild, we'll be glowing in the dark.
Alise felt something strange in her mouth, and her body already started healing the concussions. She felt the stone in her pouch start to melt into a soft mushie substance. It smooshed its way past her leather pouch and into her.
Pain filled her like nothing she'd ever felt before. Her undead existance melted away into her human one. She cried out, her mouth ejecting the rose petal and the leaf. Violent shudders racked her body as she turned back into a human witch. She didn't like it. Tears flowed freely as darkness enveloped her.
When she woke, her head was pillowed against Gerard, with him stroking her hair. "hi," he said softly.
Ara tried to see something, but everything was black, everything was dark. She tried to reach light. She had to see if Silvin was ok. She had to check on him.
"Stay quiet." The Drive hissed at her,
"No, I have to check on Silvin." She hissed back.
"If I run into him I'll make sure he is ok." It replied with a laugh, "But I'm not done."
"Please, don't hurt anyone." She begged,
"Only those that are out to hurt you." It left and she curled back up, she wanted back out, NOW.
***************************
Tara ran down the hall way. SHe saw Silvin, he looked fine. She was about to keep going when everything started going black, the last demon was dead, she could leave. She could go back, Ara was fine. But she had used to much strength, she was falling, down down, down into darkness.
"Why do you insist on keeping me here?" Bella said quietly, knowing fully well that the demon would be able to hear her, and be unable to resist the urge to answer.
"As I said before, you're quite amusing. And I was thinking you could help me..."
"I would never!" Bella was shocked, but she was also scheming. The voice seemed to be coming from straight ahead.
"As I suspected you would say," the demon answered. "But what if I told you that helping me would allow you to see Nat again?" Bella gasped. "that's what I thought." The voice was nearing Bella. The shackles were still tight, but Bella's magic was ready to be released. Bella closed her eyes.
"Boo," the voice was closer than Bella expected, and she felt the demon's breath on her face. She opened her eyes and saw the demon up close. She focused her energy, and sent a large ball of magic straight at the demon, who flew backward, landing a few yards away, unconcious.
"Wow, I didn't tink I had THAT much magic," Bella commented. "Ouch," the shackles had suddenly disappeared and she fell to the floor, on her knees. Apparently, since the demon could no longer use magic in her state of mind, the shackles were no longer there. She stood up quickly though, already knowing exactly what she had to do.
She began walking, following the dark tunnel, not knowing where it led, only knowing that it was the only way she was going to see Nat again.
*OK, sorry bout my sudden disappearance and short post. My mom was kicking me off and she was...pretty ticked. Heh.*
Nathaniel & Gerard (Gonna use both their point of views here*
----------------------
"Now that your love story is complete, can we finish mine, please?" Nat asked quietly. He coughed again.
Gerard glanced up at his twin who was staring off down the tunnell into the darkness. His smug smile melted away when he saw Nat's pain.
Nat shivered with cold, refusing to look at his brother, at the smirk he knew Gerard wore. Instead he stared off down the tunnel, thinking of what he would do if the demons hurt Bella.
"What could you do if you don't have magic?" a voice in his head leered. "Wack them with your stick?" it chuckled. "You don't even have the strength for that, especially right now."
Gerard saw Nat wince and clench his teeth. Wether it was from the cold or from some inner conflict, Gerard could not tell. He sighed.
"Nat?" Gerard called softly.
Nat turned his head a fraction of an inch. "What?" his voice was bitter.
"We'll find her."
Nat sighed but said nothing.
*Mkay Bella. You're more than welcome to magically appear now. And TN, where are you exactly? So that we can find you...*
Be the cartoon heart. Light a fire, light a spark. Light a fire, flame in my heart. We'll run wild, we'll be glowing in the dark.
The tunnel was dark, and Bella fell multiple times. She had no idea where she was going, but dared not use magic to see. Every inch of her ached, from the torture the demon had done, and from falling down. She wasn't sure how much of her was covered in blood, but she guessed a lot.
"What are you doing?" her inner voice snapped, obviously angry with Bella for one reason or another.
"Walking."
"Use magic. Teleport!"
"Oh yeah..." Bella felt stupid, but at least she had a way to get out now. She closed her eyes and concentrated on coming back to the spot where the stone had originally been. She felt the sickening sensation of spinning around too quickly after eating, and opened her eyes. She was back at the pedastol that had held the stone. She smiled, and ran down the tunnel, towards where Nat and the others had to be.
"Nat? Nat!" Bella cried, running as quickly as she could manage, and tripping a few more times that she would have liked to. When she turned the corner and saw Nat, she was sure she was going to pass out.
"Oh my great Gods, Bella!" he exclaimed, trying to get to his feet as quickly as possible. Bella ran over to him, so that he wouldn't have to strain as much. He wrapped his arms around her, regardless of the fact taht she was covered in blood, and she winced in pain. "Are you ok?" he asked, noticing her cringe.
"Yeah...a little sore."
"You look terrible," Gerard commented. "No offense. What did that demon do to you?"
"I'm not quite sure. I was unconcius most of hte time; but whenever I woke up there were more cuts and scrapes than before. What happened to you Nat?"
"That doesn't matter." Nat said, trying to push the subject away from him.
"It does to me," Bella answer simply, kissing him gently on the lips.
