Mythical Creatures of Sada Part ll

"Well, you readyd" I asked.

"I guess we don't have much choice," Georgia replied. "Do you know where that man who should know where thise items are is."

"Yeah, but he ain't close. He's in the capital city. Plus he's the Emperor's righthand man."

"I think you should put the hood on," Yeron suggested. Georgia did.

The hood hid her well, but she found it harder to walk in the woods with it on. "What about the black wolf? I highly doubt its the same guy."

"I don't know about that, I don't think anybody does." There was a tone of bitternes in his voice.

"Yeron, I'm sorry for dragging you into this."

"It's fine," I said, "there's never been an attack on the village till now."

"So you're glad it was attacked," Georgia.

"No, but my skills never were put to the test. We had no clue how good our force was until now."

"Are you sure your grandfather will be okay?"

"Yeah, if he's correct with what he said then, it'll come after me and you."

If that were true, Georgia would need to know how to weild a sword. That presented a problem.

"Yeron, I think I'm going to need to learn how to weild a sword."

He gaped at her, "You don't know how to weild a sword?"

"No, just my dagger and bow."

"I'll just have to teach you then."

Alje swooped down in front of Yeron and Georgia, landing a few feet away.

"Thinking of leaving me, were ya!?" she said slyly.

"Erm..." Yeron and Georgia exchanged glances. Alje just laughed.

"C'mon. I'm coming with you whether you want me to or not. Lets get moving."


*Thats all i can think of*

"Since you're begginer with swords, use this sword," I said handing Georgia the scamator. "Some people with those swords usually fight with one hand."

"Like this?" she said weilding the sword clumsily.

"Yes, now it's goingt o be hard to tell you how to use that sword, because I'm accustomed to claymores.

"Now with that, it's just like fighting with a dagger, except it's bigger. There's the slash, stab, and parry.

"This slash is like this." I swung my blade in a diagnle. "A stab." I thrust the sword forward. "A parry is simple. Attack me."

"What?!"

"Arrack me."

"Ok." She swung her sword, but I quickly blocked it with my sword.

"That's basically most of what you need to know. I'll instruct you more as we go."

"Here's your sword."

"No hold onto it, you'll need."

"Thanks."

Georgia resheathed the sword, "I think if it comes to close combat this'll be a lot easier than my dagger."

Alje laughed, "probably. What you need to do is learn how to use both at the same time."

"That would be way beyond my control, I'd lose one and impale myself."

"If you become skilled enough, you could fight with a claymore in one hand and a scimator in the other," I said.

"Really?" Georgia asked.

"Yeah, I see a guy do it once. I tried it once too. It's very complicated ecspecially with the swords size and weight."

"So how do you think I should do Dagger and scimator?"

"Well, the scimator in the dominant hand, and the dagger in the other."

Laney followed Lethero,

"You be alot like your grandmother," Lethero said,

"Thank you," She replied taking in everything around her so she would know the area.

"She always was a lone wolf, she loved being alone." He commented "Not all the time, but she always seemed to want time to herself."

"She said a wolf that starts out alone is a stronger allie then one that was always protected." Laney said,

"Do you know who your grandfather is?" Lethero asked,

"No, she never talked about him and my mother didn't know who he was, she said my grandma would alwas changed teh subject." Laney said, "My grandmother was never married, least that is what ma said."

"Yeah, that's what I heard last I heard of her," Lethero said. "She found someone she really liked, but didn't marry him. She didn't tell me the reason."

"Did you know this guy?" Lanely asked.

"No, when Nicarga visted, he never came. Heck last I heard of her, was about twenty years ago. You were a pup then, you'd hardly remember those visits. Yeron wasn't even born then."

"Do you know where they are going?"

"Matter of a fact, yes. They are going to the capital city. You can follow them if you want."

"Sir, my grandmother told me to stick to you if i found you unless told otherwise by you. I do not know the way to teh capital even if i tried to find it. I've been a loner like my grandmother, so i don't travel to much." Laney looked around, "I do not know where i would be most useful, with you or them."

"I'm not as young as I used to be," Lethero said. "I don't think I can follow you."

"Do you want me to go after them?" Lanley asked.

"It's your choice, but I think I could get you an escort."

"How?"

Shadalina, Lethero said in his mind, I need you to come here. I have something I need you to do.

"I know someone who might take you." Lethero said,

"Ok," She sighed,

"What did your grandmother die of?"

"Old age,"

Georgia pulled out her dagger, "This I can do well."

"You pretty much weild the scimator like the dagger, only from a distance."

"Ohhh. Let me try again then." She pulled out the scimator and spun it like her dagger, she lost control and dropped it. "Well that didn't work."

Yeron picked it up and handed it to her, "Its a tad harder to control than a dagger."

"I've realized."

"Now keep a stronger grip," I said, swing down." She swung but stumbled forward a bit. "Make sure only your arm follows through, not the body.

"Try a thrust." She swung her sword forward. "Good, now swing down again." She swung hard, but didn't stumble. "Good."

"Is that it?" Georgia asked.

"Sadly, no, but we'll continue your training as we go. For now we must continue." I continued forward and said behind me, "You coming or not?"
