Mythical Creatures of Sada Part ll

"Yeah," I answered, "my grandfather said it can possess magical creatures."

"So anyone magical creature can be a potential enemy," Georgia said.

Then footsteps were coming towards us. I looked around and was releaved to see it was a human. Nut all of a sudden he threw a dagger at me.

"I think this can possess humans too, now."

Halina could feel the power overpowering her. She dropped the dagger she was still holding to the floor and turned and ran to find Alje. She saw her with Lethero and the baby dragon moving through the chaos.

'Alje!'

The dragon, in her human frm, stopped and turned to face her. Halina ran forward and looked into Alje eyes.

'What has Raiana said we should do?' Halina asked.

Alje was shocked and she gazed at Halani with nothing less than suspicion and anger in her eyes.

'How do you know about Raiana?' she asked moving away from Halani. Lethero had stopped nearby and was walking back to Alje side.

'What's going on?' he asked looking at the scene unfolding infront of him.

'She knows about Raiana!'

Lethero looked at her in shock a growl escaping from his lips and he shifted slightly getting ready to run. Halani lost her temper. She felt bad about yelling at the people who were part of her past but she had to make them understand.

'I will tell you everything later but if you havn't noticed that...thing is possessing everyone! Now, tell me what Raiana said we should do!'

"Lethero," the possessed human said, "you killed my brother, and now I'll kill you." He pulled out a sword and lunged at me. I back-stepped and drew my sword.

I swung my sword at his neck but he quickly parried that and swung for legs. I jumped and before I could pull off another swing, a arrow came at his chest.

"Thanks Georgia" I kept my sword out and ran through the village looking for my grandfather.

"Yeron," my grandfather said as we found him, "is it true what Ajle said?"

"Yes, and this one can posses humans too."

"This is going to be worse than last time."

Georgia's legs were solid steel, she couldn't bend them, and defiently couldn't run. She swore and drew an arrow, ready to shoot at anything that came too close.

When she spotted her grandmother she shouted, "Grams!"

"G.G. what are you doing? We have to get out of here!"

"Grams my legs feel like steel I need you to take my place for a while."

She looked agast, "what?"

"My legs won't move, I can't bend my knees."

A realization dawned on Georgia senior, "G.G. I have to get you to Lethero and Alji."

With a whirl Georgia senior turned into a morat and teleported them both to in front of Yeron, Lethero, and Alji. "Lethero, its-its-its her!" she pointed at Georgia jr.

"Whats me?"

"Shes the one from that profecy I told you about!"

Lethero and Alji gaped at her.

"What?"

"She's the one," Lethero said, "you sure about that?"

"Yes," Georgia Senior said, "my granddaughter."

"What are you guys talking about?" Georgia Jr. asked.

"Dear," Lethero said, "you are the prophesized to defeat that priest. It says you have to gather certain items and you have to meet it at it's place of origin."

"What are these items?"

"My memory is hazy, Ajle, do you remember?"

"It says the Staff of Gerask, the Pendent of Jerios, and the Ring of Werals. We do not know where they reside but we know someone who might know."

"And the origin?"

"The Curch of Quistra."

Georgia jr.s jaw dropped, "could somebody please explain this a little bit more to me please? I get that i'm supposed to stop whatever that thing is, but how?"

"With those things."

"And with somebody close by," Yearon added.

Georgia turned and looked at him for a moment before turning back to everyone, "what does he mean?" her voice was shaking, she knew the answer before she asked.

"If you're going to be able to bring him down, he's going to try as hard as he can, if not harder, to get you and kill you."

"Also in the prophecy," Lethero said, "a Werewolf is said to be accompying the phophesized person."

"So, Yeron is the prophesized Werewolf?" Georgia asked.

"It said a black Werewolf, but you'll be needing protection."

"Yeah, just because you're good with a bow, doesn't mean that will help you."

I got my dagger to protect me also."

"You're going to need more than a dagger sometimes."

Georgia couldn't believe what they were saying, it was just too much. She had to fight to push the tears back.

"This is too much," she said, "why me?"

"Just take a leap of faith, honey," Georgia senior said, wrapping her arm around her.

The guy from the trees had dissapeared adn Laney moved on. She saw a bunch of people talking, she quickly hid.

"You're gonna need more then a dagger." She heard someone say.

"what are you doing spying on them." SOmeone hissed from next to her. She felt a cold blade against her side. "Walk with me will ya." She was lead to where the other people were. She wanted to reach for her dagger but that would be a mistake.

"Who is this woman?" I said as a soldier brought a woman over.

"She was spying on you sir," the soldier said.

"Lanely," Lethero said, "is that you?"

"How do you know me," the woman said.

"I knew your mother, Nicarga. I haven't seen you since you were a pup, but you look like your mother."

"Are you Lethero?"

"Yes, I fought a long side your mother fifty years ago. How is she doing?"

"She's dead."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"This is the grandaughter of Nicarga," I said in surprise. "The one who helped bring peace to our kind."

"Yes," Lethero replied. "Lanely, this is my grandson, Yeron."

"Hello," Laney said, Lethero was the only person Laney let call her 'Lanely'

"Where have you been all these years then Lanely?" Yeron asked.

"Its Laney, Lethero is the only one that calls me Lanely." Laney said, "I've trained and stayed under my grandmother. Now, what is it I hear about the preist being back?"

"It seems not to be the same one," Lethero said, "he cannot be easily destroyed like the first."

"Are you sure this is a different one?" Lanely asked.

"This one can possess humans, as well as magical creatures."

"I can vouch for that," I spoke out. "One of my Werewolf soldiers and human soldiers attacked me, but the strange thing is, they thought I was you."

"Well, you do look like your grandfather when he was younger," Ajle said.

"It seems to think I'm you and now it's after me and probably when it learns about Georgia, her too."

"It already knows," Georgia senior said, "thats why her legs felt like steel."

"That being said, we need to get out of here and soon."

"You will leave as soon as possible," Lethero said. "We will help you gather supplies, and will see you off."

"What about you grandfather," I said, "that thing is after you?"

"It's not after me, but you. As long as it's after you don't worry about me. There is something I wish to give you though." Lethero went into the house and a few minutes later came back with a bundle.

"This is the Sword of the Blood Paw Pack." He opened a bundle and revealed a scimator.

"But I thought you gave that to my father?"

"I gave him the armor, he did not need the sword. Take it Yeron, it's yours." I picked up the sword by the hilt and examined it. Also I noticed that there was a scabbard in the bundle.

I picked up the scabbard and put on my back along with my claymore and I sheathed the sword. "Thank you grandfather."

Georgia turned to her grandmother, "grams whats-"

"shh... you've got your mothers spirit, and you know her."

"She'd be fine in any situation."

"And so will you, watch yourself out there, you are a very precious commoditey."

"What will happen o the village if it finds out i'm here?"

"The same thing that would happen if you were, only it wouldn't end at just a few villages."

Georgia and Yeron left, with Lethero and Georgia senior going with them to the out skirts.

"Alright, this is as far as we can go, I have to return to the village."

"Georgia, put this on and keep it on whenever you feel exposed." Her grandmother put a cloak around her.

Then in a flash, Georgia senior took a faster form and Lethero turned into his wolf form. And Georgia and Yeron were left alone.
