Sano looked at his arm. It was all stiched up, "Thank you. Not many people would be willing to do something like this for anyone."

"It was really no problem at all. You know, I never did catch your name."

"Sano, Sano Taitatsu."

"I'm Geomana."

"Well then, thank you Goemana. If you don't mind, i'll be going now."

"Why don't you stay? At least have something to eat."

Sano looked at Goemana, "I'd love too, that is if it's okay with you elder brother."

"i see no reason as to why not. You seem nice enough."

"Thank you."

Sanon rubbed his eyes to keep himself awake. He was sure his retinas had fused for staring at a computer screen.

He couldn't find anything about an underground Herskon thing! He had come across several Herskon sites, but most of htem required a password, and hte ones that didn't said nothing about underground.

he sighed rubbed his face. There had to be something. He had heard correctly, hadn't he? Of course he did!

Sanon bit his lip and went back to the most promising website, trying to hack into the site. A few hours later, he sat at the edge of his seat, breathless with how close he was getting....when his computer shut down. a warning flashed across the screen--something about hacking into somewhere he was not authorized to be--and hte screen went blank.

Sanon swept his hands across the keyboard in frustrations, swearing loudly. somewher behind him, his sister groaned and shifted on their warn couch, mumbling something about Josh leaving her alone, and she fell back asleep.

Sanon tried to keep his anger down, his face red with the effort, but he couldn't seem to do it. in a sudden burst of fury, he slammed his head against the wall and stormed outside. He'd been so close to getting the password; a stupid virus wasn't going to keep him away. He knew he'd never be able to get back to that site, now that they were aware which computer. So he'd have to find another computer to use.

Geomana walked into the kitchen and started cooking, Sano watching her admiringly.

"My brother and I like our steaks rare, how do you like yours?"

"Medium rare."

"Good, we'll put yours on top then."

Geomana worked with nice speed, and before long she had the steaks in the oven. And after a half hour she had the table set for four and pulled the steaks out.

She handed Sano a plate and said, "if you want the good stuff you gotta get here first."

I ate my steak slowly, remembering the times with m brother. If I'd known he was in the resistence, I would've joined and helped him. But now he was dead. I promised to kill the people who murdered him.

"Is everything okay, brother?" Geomana asked. "You look like you're about to cry."

"What?" I said. "Me, no way, I'd never cry. I'm too tough for that."

Geomana surpressed a laugh, when they were younger she took great pleasure in making her brother cry. Which was easy, step on his toes and push him over. But as he grew he didn't take that anymore. When she did that he'd pick her up and stick her in a tree.

She smiled at the memories, it was usually Liskon who helpped her down. And then they would plot against Kresko.

A single tear rolled down her cheak and she hid it by bending over her plate for a bite.

"So Sono, we don't know anything about you. Tell us."

Sano wiped his mouth, "There isn't much to tell. I suppose I'm as normal as we can be."

"Well, what kind of animal are you?" ask Geomana.

"I think I know," said Kresko.

"What, how could you know?" asked Geomana.

"He has evaded any chance of us asking him what animal he is. You're a dragon."

"What? I heard they were all dead."

"Geomana, not all were killed. Do you know why they were all most wiped out?"

"No."

"Tell her Sano, let us all here it."

"Before I say anything, why do you wish to here the story."

"Because you guys can't be trusted!"

"Brother, what's going on?"

"The Dragon family are traitors to their own race! They tried to kill major leaders on both sides! They wished to dominate this world!"

"What? Sano, is that true?"

He just looked away.

"Why don't you answer her Sano!"

"Don't judge me." Sano raised from his seat, "Even if my family was like that, not all of us believed in what they were doing! Besides, you don't understand what they tried to do."

"Then tell us, or will you keep it to yourself too traitor!"

"Both of you stop it!" yelled Geomana, tears in here eyes.

"I'm leaving," Sano turned and walked to the door. Before he left he said, "My family tried to find peace for all of us by ending the violence. Don't jump to conclusions before understanding the whole situation." He looked at Geomana, "Thank you for your kindness."

(I did this because we need this storybook to start going some where. I hope it's okay.)

Geomana stood in front of the door with her arms crossed, "somebody's going to tell me what's going on!"

"Geomana let the man go!"

"Not until I get some answers!"

Geomana was in her stubborn mood, there was no way she was going to yeild without her answers.
I just lost the game.

"Well," Kersko began, "It was about fifty years ago. The wars between us Herskons and humans was raging badly. No side was giving, each side suffering huge casulties.

"Well, the Dragon Family thought they knew how to defeat the humans. They thought that enslaving humans was the answer.

"They started getting power hungry, taking high positions in our goverment. We basically became slave to them. We had to fight wars and everyhting against humans.

"When the fights starting getting unneccasary, we started rebelling. All hell broke loose down here until most of the Dragon Family was dead.

"Slowly the wars with the humans became small skirmishes, then it's how it is today."

Geomana looked at Sano, shocked. "What's your side of the story?"

"My family is the one that tried to stop them."

"Is that all you have to say about it?" Kresko demanded.

Sano turned and looked at him, "yes, now if you don't mind, I will be taking my leave."

Geomana opened the door for him, "I'll walk you out."

Sano was walking down the stairs when Geomana came running after him. He stopped, but didn't turn around, "Geomana, what is it?"

"I would like to know the whole story, the true story straight form you."

He turned slightly. Just enough to look her in the eyes, "Why is it that you care so much? If you start to hang around me, you'll lose any chance for a normal and happy life. I'm treated like this every where, you're the only person who showed me kindness, so I thank you. I had forgotten what it felt like." He looked away, "Because of that, i don't want you to get hurt."

"Please don't go."

Sano looked down, If you want to know the whole story, I will tell you, but not here. Come with me." He extended his hand.

"Where are we going?" asked Geomana.

"To a secret place, a safe place called home."

Geomana looked at his hand and thought if she should take it.

Geomana hesitated for a moment before taking his hand. "Where is home?" She asked hesitantly as he led her outside.

"Not far, as long as we fly."

She swallowed, damned fear of heights, "fly?" she stuttered.

"Thats not a problem is it?"

She shook her head, gathering her courage, "no not at all, I'm just... not a fan of heights."She smiled and giggled softly as she spoke, her cheeks growing red.

Sano smiled at her, "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe."

He transformed into a black dragon www.desktopexchange.com/.../Black_Dragon.jpg "Hope on."

Geomana hopped on Sano's back and they took off.

Sano flew through the air with grace and speed. Even so, Geomana seemed uncomfortable. She clung to his neck with all her might, her eyes closed.

"It's okay Geomana, I'll make sure you don't fall."

Even so she dug her face in Sano's black hair.

"We'll be there soon, so hold on for just a little bit longer."

Sano flew high over the city so not to be seen by anyone. Soon they left the city for the outskirts.

"We've left the city now, homes not far away."

Sano got no answer, but she tugged on his hair. That told him she heard him.

After a little longer of flying Sano started to descend. Geomana peeked out to see the ground coming into view. At that moment Sano turned back into a human.

"What are you doing Sano!" yelled Geomana latching on to him.

Sano smiled as he hit the ground, "We're here."

"Sano you bastard, don't do that again!"

"Look." He pointed in front himself.

Geomana turned to see a waterfall. The water spraying showing a beautiful rainbow. Flowers lined the water banks with every color known to man.

"My family found this place and hoped to make the world this way. They wished to show everyone that it doesn't matter who you are, there's something in all of us that makes us all the same."

Geomana was barely listening, she was still in awe of the beautiful place. "Geomana?"

She snapped out of it, shaking her head, "sorry its...really beautiful." Beautiful was an understatement. It was, georgous. "Man, I wish I knew what this was here when i was younger," she turned and looked at him, "I would've met you a lot earlier."

"Why?"

"I would've spent all my time here." She closed her eyes for a minute and regained her purpose, "now, tell me why my brother suddenly turned cold."
I just lost the game.

Sano looked down, "Not many have any reason to respect me. Many saw my family as an evil that had to be stop. Many fought against my clan, maybe some one your brother knew. He is older right?

Geomana looked away, tears welling in her eyes, "Why ust my brother act like that? He, he never has before."

Sano huged her, "If it comes to it, I'll leave and never come between you and your brother again."
I will always fight back, no matter what.
