Sano and Geomana were silent as they sipped their tea, Sano sighed and stared at the liquid inside his cup.
Geomana noticed and asked, "Sano, is something wrong?" She put her hand on his.
Sano looked at it, "If you continue to see me, soon people will look at you the same way they look at me."
Geomana didn't say a word. Instead she took another sip of her drink. Finally she found something to say, "If I leave, you'll only be in pain. If I stay I can at least make you feel better."
Sano looked suprised. No one had ever said something like that to him. He smiled, "Thank you, for your kindness." He stood up and walked to the wall where his fathers sword lay. He picked it up and brought it back to his seat. "I want you to have this."
Geomana looked at it with a confused look, "Why do you want me to have this?"
"My father, he believed he could change life with this sword. With this blade he wished to slash open the true beauty of this world and cure people's blindness. I pray it will bring you happiness."
