Lilly

An eagle descended swiftly and as it shot towards the ground, it grew and extended into a human until he landed with a soft thud, both feet on the ground. He swayed slightly from the momentum of his landing and then looked up at us, a friendly grin plastered across his face, drawn by an amature's hand. He was no good person. That was clear and yet there was a glimmer there as if, somewhere behind his many layers, there was some warmth to him.

"Hello and who might you be?" Alexynia greeted him warily.
"Zire," The man replied with a gallant bow.
"And you are here because..." Tera demanded, a new strength of will in her stance as she stubbornly resigned herself to Arias' fate and the journey that lay ahead of us.
"To offer my assisstance," Zire replied in smooth, rehearsed tones.

Daklana rolled her eyes. She sensed he had vampire blood. It was hard to sense at first. Since she was so weak. She got up and walked over.

"What exactly do you want?" She asked.

"I said I was here to offer my assistance." He said, realizing she was the vampire.

"But why? What do you want?"

"I don't want anything in particularly, but if you are offering your blood, vampire i would take it" replied Zire smiling
"what can i do for you?" asked Zire
"Some food,shelter and fire" said Lilly
Zire clicked his fingers, in a instant a large fire rose from the ground. It burnt without wood.
"As for food I'll go and get it" said Zire and shape shifted to an eagle and flew away.
Zire flew towards the blast. He descended and sniffed the air.
so, Arias and his brother had died thought Zire. He sighed, a tear flowing down his cheek. Wiping it away he went to find some food.

Daklana was starving. She didn't see anyone, besides the few girls, to feed on. She had not enough strength to capture anyone. She was feeling like she was just going to faint. Zire came back a bit later and brought back food, well, food for the others. She couldn't eat such foul stuff. She tried to walk over and talk but she just fell down. He came over and looked at her.

"You seem weak vampire." He said.

"Ya think? I'm starving." She said faintly.

Arania kept her face blank, she had to think. She replayed the events of the day in her mind, if she hadn't kissed Arias, they'd all be alive. She looked at the other girls and the realization dawned on her, if she hadn't done something they would have died as well.

Arania looked at Daklana, she had collapsed to the ground and Zire was helping her up. Maybe she was so hungry that whoever she fed off of would die. That thought lifted her spirits slightly.

Turning she took her blade and pricked a hole in her arm. Fierce determination entered her as she stepped foward. Daklana stared at her when she kneeled next to her.

"How hungry are you?" Ariana tried to mask her selfishness with concern. Over the last month she had come to concider Daklana her friend, and was glad to see her alive.

She had risked all their lives for one kiss, one kiss, and it had destroyed Arias. It had almost destroyed them all. She would have easily given her life to keep them safe.

Ariana sat down, making a point to wave her arm over Daklana's face. Zire noticed the cut and realized what she was going to do. But a human's blood would be too weak and she would die before Daklana had had her fill.

Zire stuck his arm out just as Daklana lunged. The different types of blood mixed into him would grant her her fill with only barely weakening him.

The look on Ariana's face showed him that he would need all the energy he had for a while. This wasn't her last try. She had to have been in love with his brother, one of them at least, and that blast had destroyed them both.

After Daklana had her fill she walked over to the others, leaving Zire and Ariana alone.

"I take it you knew my brother, Arias," he said.

*ha ha i left a nice cliff hanger didn't I? Easy to pick up*

"yup we all did" replied Ariana
"Do you know how he died?" asked Zire
Ariana nodded. She related the whole story to Zire.
"I guess if your Arias's brother then your fathers dead too" finished Ariana
"No, my father is dead......... i killed him" said Zire
"You killed your own father?" Asked Ariana suprised
"Yes, just like they killed their father." replied Zire
"Why?" asked Ariana curiously
"Its a long story" said Zire
"I have got time" said Ariana

"I have got time" repeated Ariana
Zie smiled then said "No you haven't, but i will tell you"
"Years ago when i was born. i was used for an experiment. They transplanted different blood types to me. During this process i died, but Arias revived me and took me as his brother. He trained me and finally awoke my true power. Unable to control my true power it took over me turning me evil Arias tried to stop me, but i almost killed him. By almost killing him i separated him from his body. That's how he met A.k 5 for the first time, but a.k 5 was unconscious so he did not know about Arias. I went away leaving them killing everyone in my path by sucking their power. I reached the place where my father was. Meanwhile Arias got back into his body and followed me. He found me just after i had sucked all the strength out of me father and everyone around him. Arias bound my evil side inside me. Now that Arias is dead may evil side might break free, but that is highly unlikely since i can control it now and i have to be very angry for it to break free from even my grasp. If i do become evil i will turn fully vampire, but will have all my powers." explained Zire


Ariana listened astounded.

"Cool. Another vampire. I'll have some company." Daklana said, listening to the conversation from afar.

"I'd be evil though." He said.

"Don't get mad, I was just kidding." She smiled. "So...like...yeah...I guess I'm gonna go find somewhere else to live...since my home was sorta...blown up..."

"You could always help us." Lily said.

"Ugh. Sounds like work. I guess I could...nothing better to do. But I have to be able to go off at night to feed. Allright?"

"Sure. But not on us." She said quickly. Daklana laughed and smiled.

"Course not." She winked and smiled.

"I'll come with you" said Zire then added "I haven't..... fed on animals in a while"
Daklana considered it then said "sure"
"So now what?" asked Zire
"Now that our missions over we rest" said Lilly
"What mission?" asked Zire curiously
"The mission to kill the master of the armies of the enemy" said Tera
"Oh.....well then your mission is not over" said Zire
"What?, but we saw the cloaked figure die" said Ariana
"That was the commander the king or master is still alive and more powerful"said Zire
"Well lets go now" said Tera
"No!, now we rest, let me and Daklana feed. Next day lets set of" said Zire
"Your right we are exhausted" said Tera

Ariana laid down with her back to the group, she knew she wouldn't sleep, she'd never sleep again. Had she not done anything, had she waited another day, Arias would still be alive.

That knowledge was a knife in her heart. If she could turn back time she wouldn't have kissed Arias, not like that.

She rubbed her throat and winced at the bruises, she hoped they never went away, a scar to remind her why love was so dangerous.

Never again will I fall in love.

Alexynia sat next to the fire, sharpening a stick with her knife. She stared at Ariana, trying to see into her mind.

Why would she say soemthing like taht? Alexynia asked herself, standing up quietly. She didn't wake anyone as she slipped away from the camp. She didn't want to sleep; she wanted to walk.

It was abnormally dark, and Alexynia stopped when she heard someone behind her. SHe felt someone grab her around the waist, covering her mouth as she tried to scream. She felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck and everything went darker.

"We really should warn her next time we go hunting" said Zire wiping Alexynia's blood of his mouth.
Daklana nodded.
"Is she okay?" asked Zire
"Yes" replied Daklana
Lets carry her near the fire and resume hunting, i am hungry." said Zire
They carried her back near the fire and walked away.
