The Outlaws

"Alex is my name, my reason is you have contact with the man that knows the where abouts or did of the man that killed my little sister. I come from where ever, that is no longer something i remember. These aren't dogs, they are wolves, at times humens." SHe said looking the man over. "Where did you get that 'bad experiance' from a guard dog?"

"Did you tell them?" asked Kasko as soon as Liskano arrived at the outskirts of the town.

"Yes, brother."

"Good. I think it's time we show ourselves to them. Don't you agree."

Liskano smirked. "Yes I think so too, brother."

"Some rich bloke," Caden said evasively. He didn't really want to dwell on the subject; it was not a pleasant memory. "I'm a thief; dogs are trained to kill us."

Molton spared his son the humiliation of explaining and cut in, "You said we knew a man who had a connection with the man who killed your sister. WHo is he?"

"Liskano," She said, everyone seemed alert at teh name.

"How does he know of this man?" Molton asked.

"That i don't know, i just know he knows or knew this man's where abouts. That is enough for me."

"well, I'm sorry, but he's just left," Molton said with a shrug. "And I wouldn't suggest chasing after him; he's fast."

"I could catch him if i wanted to." SHe replied, at least she could get close. "I would think he would come back. THough you have more things at hand. do you want help or not, all i ask in return is a chance to talk to him."

Liskano and Kasko appeared behind Caden. "Hello Alix," Liskano said, making Caden jump. "I bet you be wondering who we are. I be Liskano and this be my brother Kasko. We will help you fight this army."

"We are might not fight," said Caden, "we will negotiate with them."

"If you do that they will still kill you. Many of people have tried that and were killed. Fighting is the only way. I can kill more in a few seconds than you could in a few minutes."

"Liskano" SHe said greeting the man, she didnt' know how he knew her name but that didn't matter. "So are y'all fighting or not. I have people wanting to fight, they are getting bloodlust with the thought." She said.

Caden glared at him. "Could you not just pop out of nowhere? It takes years off of my life."

"Fighting does not appeal to me," Molton said. "We could lose a lot of Outlaws. After all, they are trained soldiers, and we're just a bunch of thieves and assasins."

Caden turned to look at Molton. "How did you know the guy's name?"

"I spent half my life in the North," Molton said simply. "And there aren't that many elven, albino assasins."

"Then y'all stay back a little, shot arrows or somthing, but you can't just stand here, you'll be killed." Alex said confussed by them. "I thought y'all were going to fight. I thought he was the only one?"

"I told you last time we met, Molten," Liskano commented, "I'm not only an assassin. I do work here and there, legal or illegal."

"You will not be able to negotiate with them," said Kasko. "Yes a lot of theives will die, but we do something they don't do; we fight dirty."

"They do want to fight," Caden sighed. "But i wish we had a little more sense than that!"
Then he bit his lip and shrugged. "But it doesn't seem like we have a choice."

Alex smiled. "Do you want my help?" she asked, "Well, my friends' help?"

"The more the better." Molton said.

"I thought you worked alone, Alex?" Liskano asked. Alex didnt' reply, she wanted to know how he knew so much about her.

"I think it is your call" She said to Caden.

Caden scowled and shrugged. "First sign of double-cross, though..."

"Ask Liskano, sense he knows so much about me. I don't double cross." She replied.
