"Well Alice, you'll have to wait until we get back to teh Highwind. We have in the holding cell there. Adam, can you hear me?" She turned on the computer-intercom thingy and waited.

"Bella? But I thought you needed help...where's Alice?" Adam asked.

"Right here Adam, all's well...For me at least. Is Jay still alive?" Alice asked.

"Yeah..."

"Well, not for long once I get back."

Roya shakes her head and looks at Alice like she hasn't seen her for a year.

"ALICE!" she screams and jumps on her. Alice pulls out any weapons on her, including at least three sporks and pokes one of Roya's eyes out. "No, don't kill me yet! I was just glad to see you."

"You've been here..." Rick mentions. She cocks her head sideways and thinks hard.

"I have?" she asks, but shrugs it off in an instant. "Anyway... Alice! I know we have to wait till we get back go the ship before you can go on that stupid suicide mission, but I'm going to do all I can to keep you from going in there. That Jay guy is bad news."

"Roya," Bella said quietly, turning away from the screen where Adam was. "CALM DOWN! And aren't you supposed to be on the Highwind?"

"I dunno. I came here and...yeah, here I am."

"Ok, whatever."

Adam walked into the Brig. Jay seemed to be in a lapse of puking.

"Alice is on her way back and she's assured us that you are going to die once she gets here." Adam said in cold steely calmness.

Jay grinned a moment before continuing to puke. Adam laughed as he left the brig.

"Roya," Alice puts an arm on her shoulder, "I've known Jay is bad news, but we won't have peace with him until this is done."

"Um... Alice," Bella whispers into her ear, "I think Roya's lost it."

"I've noticed. When are we getting back to the highwind?"

"Soon."

Bella carefully landed teh shuttle in the docking area of the Highwind and opened the door. Alice was the first one out, walking quickly. Rick was right behind her.

"Alice, you're ok!" Matt exclaimed when he saw them. Alice pushed him otu of the way.

"Where's Jay?" she snapped.

"Um...in the brig with Adam."

"Good..."

A few steps away she felt guilty about pushing matt and turned around to hug him. "So where's Jay again?" She asked sweetly.

"In the brig with Adam."

"Thank you." Alice storms off again, grabbing a hold of her sword as she does so.

"Alice what exactly are you planning to do?" Rick asks.

"Pay off my debt, have nutty resurect me and then kill Jay."

The doors slid open and Alice came in. Adam was overjoyed to see her. She went straight to Jay's cell.

"Hi Honey," said Jay. Alice deactivated the Holding field and pluged her Claymore into Jay. He laughed. "What a fool!"

Energy pulsed up the Claymore and into ALice. She tried to pull away but couldn't. Jay pulled the sword from his gut and his wound healed.

"What is happening!" Alice cried. Adam tried to get her free of the Sword put it Pulsed and held him against the Wall. The crew didn't know what to do.

"Oh Matt," Jay Said, "Have a present." He blasted Matt in the gut and caused him tp puke up slugs. "You should have left her with Adrian!"

Alice screamed as the energy started to hurt, Rick and Scipio tried to pry her away but couldn't. Alice pushed the sword foward again and into Jay. He simply laughed and pulled her closer.

He shut the holding feild cutting her off from everyone else. "Time to pay off your debt," he turned to look at the rest of the group who were relentlessly trying to open the feild, "this cannot be reversed either." He pulled a dagger out of his pant leg and stabbed Alice through the heart with it, she was dead instantly.

"NOO!!!!!!!!" BElla cried, runnign forward and into the holding field. "Dammit Adam, do something!"

"I can't, there's nothing that can be done," Adam asnwered quietly. Jay laughed wickedly from where he stood.

"There must be something," Bella snapped back angrily, holding back unwatned tears.

"Alice!" Rick shouted. "Let me at that dirty bastard, i'll kill him!!!"

Shock faded fast as Anger swelled up in Adam. "You Son of a...!!!!!!!!" He erupted in light. But it was not the same. Not the golden light of the Seraph, the Red light of the Deamos.

Long scaley wings spread from his back as the red, scale armour lost its glow. A long, fiendish sycthe appeared in Adam's hand. His eyes popped open to reveal a red glow.

"Uhhh...." said Heather, "Did anyone know Adam could do that?" jay's laughter faded. He focused on Adam.

"Kill him," Adam said to the others as he pointed his sycthe at Jay.

Nutty summoned ravara, and turned to the others
"Ahh... guys... I'll just work on alice, shall I?"
Nutty didn't wait for an answer but grabbed Alice's corpse and started to drag it out of the room.
Jay rounded on her. "Leave her be!"
Nutty nodded to ravara, who launched at Jay.

Heather stumbled back a step, beginning to wonder what sort of creatures she had got involved with but Scipio stood firm.
"You'll pay for that," Scipio insists, "I'm going to disintegrate you."
"Like you did with those other creatures you mean?" Asks Bella.
"That's right, think it will work?" Scipio replies.
"There's no need," Adam hisses as he launches himself at Jay. Jay staggers back with the added weight and he head smashes into the wall with a thud that echoes around the cell.

"Be careful Adam!" Bella exclaims.
"Kill him," Rick snarls.
"Some help over here please?" Nutty sounds worried as she tries to bring Alice back.
"Can I help at all?" Asks Heather.
"I don't understand why it isn't working," Nutty complains, "It's always worked before. Jay begins to laugh manically, even as Adam pounds him harder and harder.

"You can't kill me," Jay laughed, more towards everyone else than adam, "Alice made sure of that."

"You bastard!" Rick shouts.

Scipio marches over to him, "bring her back."

"No," Jay scoffed. "Not until you promise to let me go."

They looked around at each other, "adam," Bella put her hand on Adams shoulder, "Adam let him go." Adam reluctantly does.

"Now bring her back!" Rick demands.

Air fills Alice's lungs, and her chest heals. "Ouch," she groans as she sits up.

Adam couldn't seem to supress his rage. Even with Alice revived he couldn't revert to his original form. His mind was clouded with hate.

He had to go back. He had to release himself from the power somehow.

"uhhh....Adam?" said Bella. He looked at her, not recognizing her face and roared. wings spread with such force it knocked everyone to the ground. What..is ....happening.....to...mee..... He couldn't hold control long. He phased himself and flew out of the Highwind inot the Skys of Peradina
