Jo glanced briefly at the clothes Kev left. If he thinks I'm gonna wear those... She yawned, stretching out on the couch and pulling the blanket up over her shoulders. There was a comfort to the place she wasn't used to, but she liked it. She shifted into the couch and fell asleep.
"Adara's at a hotel; she needs a ride." Kevin's voice entered into Joanna's dreams, giving her a strange mix of fantasy and reality. By the time she opened her eyes and became at least semi-conscious, Kevin had already gone back to his room. Mev was yawning and looking sleepily at the gun in his hand. He stood up, and a loud jingle announced that he had dropped the keys. He swore under his breath and fumbled around, trying to maneuver the flashlight Kev had left him. He finally found the keys, then slowly made his way to the door.
Jo watched all this while still trying to differentiate between the real world and her dreamland. As Mev closed the door behind him, not taking any care to keep it quiet, she found herself still exhausted but unable to go back to sleep: an annoying state of existence she knew all too well these days.
