*author, I had already got us out of the room you do relise lol*

"I...I don't understand...are you saying I killed my daughter? And adrian... I've never seen HIM before. Why would he care?"
He shook his head in fierce denial. "I haven't had a pack in... years. It could'nt have been me. And if she's dead," He jabbed the air, indicating the land outside the building, "What's out there?"
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

"She was in her thirties when your pack killed her, she already had made another one and another, she was making her own pack. She's come for revenge!"

Eryc swore. Replacing his sunglasses, he tried to stop his hands shaking. "Not a word. No-one needs to know of this. We would be both dead in minutes."

"No you would be dead in seconds, remember we're in my place with my people. I am infantly stronger than you here. And do not think that i will stick up for you, because I won't."

Eryc clenched his fists. "And do you think your people would agree with you having relations with a werewolf? We both knew we were putting ourselves in danger all those years ago." He deflated a little, his voice mournful. "And if you bore me a child, they would not take it well. Even if I killed her..." His voice grew tight. "I do not blame you for hating me, Ishtar, and do not expect any help. But, for all our sakes, do not tell anyone of where the hybrids came from." Turning his back on her, he re-entered the room silently.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Ishtar stood there for a moment, she didn't hate Eryc. At least not for what he had done, she wished more than anything that she could tell Adrian. But she knew if she did he would kill Eryc, and never forgive her for keeping it a secret from him. She would keep it a secret, but not for Eryc, for Adrian.

She wiped a tear from her eye and walked into the room again, her face just like it was when she had left.
I just lost the game.

Eyrc stared at his feet for a time, deep in thought. Why didn't she tell me I had a daughter? He would have rejoiced if he had known. But instead he was left with the knowledge that he was the cause, no, probably the one who brought her death.
He didn't look up at Ishtar when she came in. He was not angry with her, as it was he who had left in the first place, after all. But he was left with the sense of an opportunity for happiness lost and destroyed.
Leaning against the wall, he banished the thoughts from his mind. There was things to be done, and since he was the creator of the threat, he must be one of those to eliminate it.
Looking up at those in the room, he spoke in a cold voice. "So, what now?"
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

"We need to find out what this thing is up to," Keira said, "Why it was chasing me, unless some of you already know." She looked expectantly at the group, wondering if anyone would speak.

"We don't know anything about these creatures," Ishtar lied, "except that they are half breeds, not welcome anywhere."
I just lost the game.

*Hey Guys, I've thought of a name for this storybook. What do you think of 'Night Shadows'? it relates to the facy that over half of our charactors are creatures of the night. And the darkness that surrounds them. that sort of thing.*

*Any way.*

Keira rubbed her eye, it had been annoying her for a while now, but she assumed it was nothing. Then she felt something shift inside them, as though there was something in there. She looked for the door to the bathroom and found it to her left. She stood up slowly and went in. There was a long mirror above the sink and she looked into it. She couldn't see anything. She rubbed it again and felt something come out onto her finger. Shocked, she looked down at a small round disk, just large enough to cover her pupil, tinted blue. she looked back at her reflection and jumped back slightly.

Her pupil was pink.

Pink, how could that be, it had been blue just seconds before. Keira looked again at the disk in her hand and realised it must have been covering the colour. She checked her other eye and realised that there was a faint outline on this pupil. She rubbed that eye and felt again the shift she'd felt before. she rubbed again and it came out, a lense exactly like the other one. Her reflection told her that both eyes were indeed pink and they had been covered by the lenses.

Eryc nodded slightly, and straightened. "And to defeat them, we need to put away all differences." he carefully avioded looking at Ishtar. "And it's getting stuffy in this room. We should leave, before we draw them to the vampire hideout." He looked around the room, slowly. "Plus, I always prefered the outdoors." He gave a wolfish grin.

"To the roof then," Ishtar said and dissappeared with Adrian. She felt like she would have to tell him sooner then she planned. "Adrain at some point I will have to tell you something."
I just lost the game.

Eryc looked around at keira. "Coming?" he smiled and held out his hand. "It seems we are leaving from the top, and sooner then we thought."

"What do you mean? Leaving from the top," Keira looked at eryc startled, "how?"

His grin became wider, "You'll see."

They climbed out the window and onto the roof, looking out to emptiness.

"What now?" she looked to Eryc again.

He winked.
