Selena felt something crawl into her fur near her ear. The something walked over to her nose and perched there for a second, before going back to its former place back closer to her ear.

A tiny white ant.

Selena almost grinned- she could almost hear Blanche saying, "no fair! Why should you two get all the fun?"

"Just don't tickle," she hissed as she followed Eryc through the dark club.

Eryc could feel the stares on him. He didn't care. He had to check that they weren't eating the poor human for supper.
His nostrils flared. Through this door...

They had bandaged her up here... he could smell the mixture of blood and antiseptic.
He trotted to the other side of the room. Up these stairs... through this door...

"Hey. You sure you know where you're going?"

"Selena, when you have the nose of a wolf, you can smell what a mouse has eaten for the past week from it's scent alone."

"Okay, okay. Just asking. Keep your fur on."

Eyrc felt the vampires join them.

"We must make sure you do not do anything... regrettable."
One of them hissed.

Eryc growled.
"Whatever. Just don't get in our way."

They all came to a door, and Eyrc turned and glared at the vampires, waiting to be let in.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

"No dogs in here!" The vampire at the bar called. "We don't want your kind here! Either go back to human form or leave!"

Selena supressed a laugh as the dog growled and glared at the vampires. He slowly, and disgustingly, transformed into his human form.

"Girl," the vampiress said, "open the door."

"A human girl rushed to the door and unlocked the cross-shaped doorknob. She opened the door slightly and reached up to pull a intricately designed bottle of water, with a cross on it, from the door frame.

"Vampire-proof." Selena murmured, rolling her eyes. "Simple deterances to a vampire with a strong bloodlust..."

The girl pushed open the door and the dog and Selena walked inside.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

Eryc walked through the door. He saw a young girl, lying on a bed. Her arm was bandaged, and she looked shook and unsure.

She sat up, peering at them.
"Wh-who are you? They said I was safe here..."

Eryc shook his head. "We are not filthy leeches like those just outside the door. I have no taste for human flesh..."

Selena smirked at him. "Well, aren't you a subtle one."

She turned the girl. "This is dog..."

Eryc growled in his throat. "I have a name! I'm Eryc."

The girl looked up at them, a little shocked. "Why... is that cat talking... and why did it call you 'dog'?"

Eryc sighed. "Long story short, this is a werecat, the ant on it's ear is a changling, and I am a werewolf. NOT a dog."

The girl gasped, edging away from them. "I must be dreaming... please don't hurt me..."
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Selena changed into a human, a much more appealing sight than the werewolf's.

"I'm sure she'll have a heart attack or go into shock if you keep this up." Selena said, sharply. Eryc, just rolled his eyes. "I am Selena. Are you sure you're okay?"
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"

Ishtar heard the cry from the girl's room. She rose up from under Adrians arms and flew up stairs with such speed that Adrian could hardly keep up with her.

"You may come and get her when it is light outside," she said to them sternly. "Until then she is still in my charge."

"I am not in anyone's charge!" She cried.

"if you want to live through the night you will stay here... if not you are free to leave. But if you stay this door will not be opened by anybody here but you." Sje tirmed sharply to the vampire who had opened the door.

Finally catching up Adrian rested his arm on her shoulder, as if showing off that she was his. Even though she always declared that he was hers, she didn't mind the human like protection that that gesture gave.

She stood in that position waiting for a responce.

Eryc glared at the vampire.
"And let you betray her and slaughter her? I think not. I will stay here."

Ishtar glared at him. "How do we know you won't harm her?"

The girl trembled, looking from one party to the other.

"Why does everyone assume that werewolves are bloodthirsty thugs? I don't harm humans, unless I HAVE to."
Eryc turned away from the door, stubbornly staying within the room.

Selena sighed. "Listen," she said to the vampiress, "I don't trust him as much either, so I think I should stay to. You should know werecats have never even bothered with human affairs. What reason would I have to harm the girl?"
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"

"You don't have to have a reason, you could just because you wanted to. If you wish to stay you need to stay in the room next door." She leaned closer, "ye of little faith do ye truly believe that i would harm her after swearing that I would protect her?"

"You what?" Adrian said.

Ishtar turned to him, "I swore to protect her, no matter what the danger."

"You really like making life difficult for me don't you?"

"This had nothing to do with you, except for the fact that I can fully trust you to help me." She smiled beautifuly at him and turned back to the transformers.
I just lost the game.

Selena just smirked. "I see, but what of the dog?"

Eryc turned, snarling. "That's up to me, and me only. I have a brain. Vampires. Werecats. Always so.. upper class. I have a mind too."

Eryc glared, and turned back to the girl on the bed.

"I'm sorry miss. It's a matter of race." He held out his hand, with a small smile.

"This must be frightening for you. Look, I'm not here to hurt you. I smelt vampire chasing you, and thought the worst. You can come with me, or stay here. Your choice."

"She's not leaving, and neither are you. Or I shall be forced to tag along," Ishtar smiled.

"You really do enjoy making my life miserable don't you?" Adrian said.

"Of course I do honey." She turned back to the animals, "do you really want a vampire to be following you along? Or would you rather just stay here where you know you will be safe?"
I just lost the game.

Selena looked to the dog. "You're the picky one here. I have no problem here, nor would I mind the vampire tagging along. Whatever is out there is something we have never dealt with, so it's your choice, Eryc."
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
