Sarah felt a small ach in her stomach, nawing at her with uncertainty. "You, guys, something feels wrong. I don't know why but I think we should turn back."

No waiting for anyone to respond she back away. The floor rumbled and shook beneath her. Her eyes grew wide and she let out a whimper.

Taya caught the wall as the rumble grew in intesity.

"Let's get out of here!" She said and turned to leave, but an explosion of rubble stopped her dead in her tracks.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

"Is anyone hurt?" asked Lynn when the rumbling calmed to a roaring drone. She, of course, was not hurt, but she was standing with her shins in a boulder.

Several girls voiced there condition ranging from bumps to scrapes but nothing too serious. Everything was silent and they refused to move. "The calm before the storm," Sarah whispered.

As if on que, a beast dropped from the ceiling. Large eyes, black as night stared down at them as two thick fangs curled from his mouth. It dipped down and cocked its head with canine curiosity.

It gave a second to consider a plan or so it seemed but Sarah was struck dumb in place. Lynn had faded from sight.

"Holy snap..." Taya said, her feet frozen in place.

The beast looked at her, a low, thundering growl booming in the air.

Suddenly, it let out a roar that covered everything, even thoughts. The girls took off down the corridor, the beast close behind. Taya spun and released a river of water and froze it to the beasts feet, slowing it down.

The girls relaxed but kept running. There was a shattering noise as the beast broke free.

Sarah began to cry as she ran. The noise was warped in her mind and thats when she realized that it was all in her head. The beast had fallen silent. She stopped and looked up at the monster. It was howling and moving closer but she couldn't hear it with her ear, just in her head.

The other girls seemed too terrified to notice and continued to run. Sarah sprinted up to Taya and grabbed her hand.

"How do we fight this thing?" Sarah's voice was shaken. She hoped someone would have an answer.

"I have no idea." Taya said, breathlessly. She skid to a halt and whirled to face the monster. She sent a giant spear of ice flying at the beast, but it just shattered when it made contact with the thing's chest.

The Beast roared, enraged, and began to run faster.

OOC: good to know there are people around beside me and EmiSukotto16.

Sarah reached for a hand. For something to stop her shaking fingers and when she did, the most awstrikening thing happened. Sh could feel a warm tingling running through her arm down her her hand that glowed in Taya's own grip.

Taya knew something but she wasn't sure what and Sarah could tell. As if something was guilding them, Taya formed another spike of ice but rather than throw it, she held it out for Sarah and with a feld swift throught, the spike blazed down the hall in the short distance between them and the monster.

The tip colided with its chest and left a small, bloody hole. It began to thrash and wail in pain.

"Everyone, hold up." Taya yelled. Sarah was to thrilled to speak.

They ran up to the rest of the girls.

A tingly feeling rushed up Elis' back and she bit her lip to fight the urge to shiver.

Something was wrong, but she didn't know what.

At the front of the classroom, the teacher continued to talk, oblivious to one of his student's discomfort. Elis was a good student--she had straight A's in all of her classes. Once she started listening to a lecture, it seemed as though nothing could break her concentration.

Except for this.

It felt as though a worm had dug into the back of her skull, wriggling and squirming around. It wasn't unbearable--it was simply annoying, and maddeningly so.

Elis briefly wondered what kind of person she was to compare this feeling to worms, but was then distracted as the back of her brain gave another twist.

You shouldn't be here.

Then where, Elis mentally asked the invisible voice, should I be?

Lynn suddenly re-appeared on the beast's back, her arms firmly clasped around its neck.

"What're...you...waiting for?" she half-shouted, half-grunted at the frozen girls. A claw came up and swiped at her arm, scattering blood across the floor.

Taya focused as hard as possible and millions of ice spears formed.

"Sarah." She forced, not losing her concentration.

Sarahclosed her eyes and the strange light formed again. The spears went flying.

"Lynn! Move!" Taya shouted. Lynn disappeared just before the spears struck, impaling the beast.

With the fatal blow, the beast fell, pouring blood out onto the ground. Sarah didn't know what to do at first but slowly, she watched as the monster just faded way like missed.

"That was so...so..." Sarah trailed off.

"That was amazing." Taya said.

Lynn had just reappeared on the ground panting heavily and clutching her wounded arm.
