The Unlikely Gods

This is a story about the new gods (and lovely goddess of course) who appear as only teens but are in reality, the embodiment of freedom, beauty, truth, and love.

And as these teens find destiney they will also find that their human roots will always call them and misfortune is always present.

Name: Sarah

Age: 15

Gender: female

She can: contole the movement of wind and distort sound

Personality: Shy but a born leader. Her eccentricity comes from her dress. Bold bright colors and exotic patterns.

Hair: Firey red, long and curly

eyes: Dashing blue

Bio: Born and raised to be ladylike and proper, even in these modern times. But Sarah has other plans. Always knowing that she could bend the will of the wind and silence any voice she is both empowered and afriad. Keeping her secret is hard on her and soon, at the age of 14 she runs away. In a dream, she is guilded to the very skies and learns that she is what she is.

I realy like this idea and plan on joining, but ... how is it they are going to know each other if they are all in different places?

Name: Taya

Age: 15

Gender: female

She can: control water and ice

Personality: outgoing and bold with a cool, liquid attitude. She tends to go with the flow, but will stand up for something she thinks is right or fight against something she thinks is wrong

Hair: waist-length, dark-gold hair with gentle curls

eyes: green-blue

Bio: Taya was born to a respectable family and grew up to respect her elders and subordinates. She thinks of others more than herself and is helpful when needed, but she is outgoing and unpredictable. She is usually a calm person, but she will stand for what she believes in. She learned of her powers when she flooded part of her grandmother's mansion and was taught by her dreams everything about her pwers how to control them.

Age: 18
Gender: Female
Powers: Control over fire
Description: Cropped red hair and emerald green eyes
Personality: Fun-loving, yet easily gets carried away. Can be both a leader or a follower, depending on her mood.
Bio: An outcast in high school, Elis was known as the "pyro freak," rumored to have burned down her own house on a lark. However, although her power sometimes flares beyond her control in times of extreme emotion, this rumor is untrue. In her youth, her home was attacked by the very man who taught her how to use her powers, an event that has deeply scarred her and caused her to suppress all memories of the man. In the meantime, Elis enjoys being different from who she views as the other "teenage lemmings."

Name: Paytah ("firey one")

Age: 17

Gender: female

She can: control fire

Personality: Incredibly outspoken. Always up for something new.

Hair: Long, curly, strawberry blonde.

eyes: Burnt Charcoal

Bio: Shortly after birth, Paytah's house caught on fire during a crying fit of hers. Her father brought her out of the house and layed her on the grass, going back into the house for her mother--both ended up dying in the fire. Paytah was tossed around from foster home to foster home, never adopted...everytime there was a fire she was moved to a new home. As Paytah has learned of her powers and how to control them, she has come to the realization that she is most likely the cause of her parents death but has not admitted it to anyone yet.

OOC: write me. The place where they are all gathered is like a castle in the sky. sort of like how Olympus was a sanctuary for the Greek Gods.
Now you two up there should probably figure out who controles what or just determine how they control it. I'm not gonna choose though.

So, I need some info...

1. We obviously know of our abilities, but how do we meet? Do we already know each other, or are we meeting some other way?

2. The whole fire control thing, are Paytah and Elis sisters or just coincidentally fire wielders?

I know, I was wondering about that--I guess I was in the middle of writing up my character when she posted hers. Either way is fine with me...sister, or even cousin, or coincidence or whatever.

It would work...

Lilith and I discussed naming the "castle in the sky" Pegasus Tail. She said that it was related to how some people relate cirrus clouds to "horse tails."

Gender: F

Powers: Can become intangible, heal, fly and become invisible. (You may think this is a lot, but it's to balance out the rest of you...she's the "defense" and you're the "offense")

Personality: Clingy, humble and quiet. Doesn't like being alone, but doesn't like being part of a stereotype, either, so she looks up to everybody and doesn't let friends go easily- extremely loyal.

Hair: Medium wavy very pale chestnut

Bio: As a child, she was a master of hide-and-go-seek and other such games that required running, leaping and hiding. But when she turned ten, a girl saw her fade into a wall and since then she's been an outcast rumored of being ghost. She's always had good control over her powers, and as she is and rather humble of nature, she never fights anybody.

Eyes: very pale grey

Its fine if Paytah and Elis are related or coincidence.

Also, they meet at Pegasus Tail by the guildence of their gifts. They are gods and goddesses after all. So the whole story starts in Pegasus Tail.

OOC: Well it's just for me and Elis, not everyone Baroness. Elis, however, you are younger than me and my parents died right after I was born--that could be a problem? LOL. Unless you want to be twins and they seperated us after the house burnt down or something??
