Final Round: Choose The Mascot!

After two rounds of voting, the candidates for the official YWS mascot have come down to just Monkey or Dragon. Valid arguments can be made for both, but it basically comes down to just: which one do you like more? Are monkeys too Hollywood? Are dragons too French? The winner shall be the mascot of YWS for an indefinite amount of time. Please keep in mind this is not for the background, this is for the mascot. The poll shall remain open for a period of one week; that is, until 11 p.m. EST, March 13th, 2007. Any votes after that time will not be counted. This means that by next Wednesday, we will officially now the choice for YWS mascot. Remember to please keep it civil! Monkeys may not throw feces, and dragons may not spit fire. And be kind to the Kangaroos! They are the kingmakers.

I wouldn't be able to stand it if we ended up with a dragon mascot; to me, it really represents fantasy, and I don't write or read fantasy all too often. And then, if I were new, and I came to the site and saw the dragon, I'd think this was a place for young fantasy writers.

So in that spirit...vote monkey.

It depends what type of monky itl be , but please dont go for the gaint lizard , its everyones mascot- EVERYONES! . Maybe we could have a glossy red monkey or a huge blue brute - besides , monkeys have been linked to humans since time began , they represent inteligence , the reason we came about was because of the monkys creativness ( cracking nuts with bigger nuts ect) - and for the sake of aknolidgement , dragons dont exist and they never will , putting it up in lights and color woood be hollow , STAND WITH ME COMRADES < VOTE FOR MONKY
