I just got home from an academic competition (where Waffles was! OMG! :D) and so I was just now able to place my vote.

Yay monkey!

If the dragon wins I will probably be so upset that I'll have to avoid YWS for a few days to keep from saying anything I'll regret, LOL

If you think about it there are only 7 votes between Dragon and Monkey. About 170 people have voted and there are over a thousand people on the site. It could go any way at any moment so I don't see the point of everyone saying that Monkey will win.

Monkeys has remained 1 - 10 votes ahead of dragon the entire time. And as it's unlikely many more people will vote, chances are monkey will win :).
I wrote the above just for you.

It is true that there are over 1,000 members at YWS (over 2,500 now), but only 20% of those (500) are active. Of those 500, about 350-400 log in at least once a week. Of those, only half ever vote on the polls.

So with 178 votes in now, I would say there are at most another 40 votes to be made, and probably only 20. But, that is still quite enough for dragon to win.

Nate's getting statistical :-D

I think it would be interesting for dragon to win. It would upset so many people :p

My thoughts exactly.

... and anyway, dragons are cooler than monkies. Monkies don't bring good luck or breathe fire.

Seriously, though, lots of upset members does not equate to interesting. More like YWS activity suddenly taking a dive, since the majority of monkey supporters are the ones that have kept YWS alive and running these 2 and a bit years!

Why is the vote so close! Come on Monkeys!

Also, because it's annoying me EVERYWHERE, the plural of "Monkey" is "Monkeys", not "Monkies".

We're still winning.

They haven't beat us yet! Only a few more days, and we've clenched the victory!

Exactly... Only two people.... Mortifying, actually.
