WAIT! I thought we writers wanted to be original and inventive. So why stick with old cliched fantasy creature? There's nothing wrong with fantasy, but there's so much more to the literary world! Vote monkey!!!

This is what happened last time.

All the monkey supporters rush in and vote, and then the dragons slowly catch up. Then loads of newbies come on and vote dragon.

Monkeys are quite ordinary. Dragons are extraordinary. So, if you want some ordinary animal representing you, that's fine. I'll take the extraordinary.

Well, it's a lot lot closer than I thought it would be...

If past voting is anything to judge by, only forty or sixty more votes will be made until the polling closes.

Once again I notice that those people who have been here longer (on average) more often vote monkey, and those that have been here lass time, with *cough* two posts, vote dragon.

Just saying.

I just wonder if anyone has ever seen a monkey as an internet mascot? I also wonder if anyone hasn't seen a dragon as an internet mascot? I like originality, it gives me identity and a sense of self.
