Day 11
Progress Report:
Welll 4460 words is pretty good but still 560 words short qq
But I am too tired to continue @.@

Here's some progress tho:
Ugh.
His head hurt. A lot.
What had happened?
It took JP an eternity to remember where his limbs were located and how to move them. Even then, it was like moving steel beams instead of arms.
[...]
He negotiated his steel beam arms to push himself into a sitting position.

Day 12
Well to not fix what is not broken things have to be not broken. Or something. It's nearly 2am and I make a lot of sense right now.
Anyway.

Goal:
5000 words!

Progress Report:
Already at past 5k! MORE tho!

Also I have to scrap these words so I share them here:
“Is that one of your friends?”
He was using that word again. Kouji was hard-pressed to call any of the others friends. Allies, maybe.

I wrote nearly 7500 words but they are not helping my team to win XD We are another 10k short to break even with first place @.@

Day 13
My vacation ended and I knew I would write less on workdays so my goal was the classic 1667 words.
I ended up with 440. Yeah so.
The scene I am currently working on is crucial. But it also isn’t really working. I wish I had someone to talk to about it.
I guess this is also rooted in my confusion about how I want to set up the main conflict—which is definitely caused by my inept attempt at a first draft.

Ahhhhh. I hope you can suss it out! I hate it when important scenes just don't work...

Day 14
I didn't reach my goal this time around either but I also felt more productive than the day before. I managed to describe this new place they've found themselves in to myself which was pleasantly motivating :3

Day 15
I guess I should aim small but I kinda do wanna get those 1667 words again! I will also attempt to write a satisfying start to the scene without being too overwhelming~
UPDATE: I did the thing =D

Day 16
So What did I do on Day 16... I wrote a lot. I planned a lot. Things are basically going according to plan.

Here are my sprint notes:
Note 1: Figuring out what happens if I place a Zoe section before the JP section and it works surprisingly well (Update from Future Tikaa: No it does not). She thinks she's dreaming so the environmental change doesnt really make her nervous. Not yet at least.

Note 2:First, started to plan ahead with the scene a bit and then actually did some real writing, following up on the dialogue and did the description of the children and as well as the surroundings. About to head into a descrip of the mural.

Day 17
Most of that was following up on yesterday. Just because I will NOT move the scene ahead doesn't mean I cannot use what I wrote =D It was a very peaceful writing day all things considered!

Day 18
Most productive day. Divided the Zoe section into 4 subscenes for manageability and plotted each one out. Wrote five or six different versions of the first subscene and finally settled on one that I (still!) like. Also started working on Subscene 2.

Subscene 1: Introduction to the new normal
Subscene 2: Introduction of the main threat this section
Subscene 3: Dealing with that threat
Subscene 4: Resolution of that threat

It almost looks like a normal scene! Hah!

Day 19
Subscene 2 is a tricky little thing because I do juggle a lot of different concepts, not least helped by me having to convey that arriving in this new normal is extremely strenous for the body--which the kids do not care about because they have ~Spirits~. But their Digimon companion does not! And he's KINDA IMPORTANT for the scene so having him be out of comission or at least affected is a huge hurdle atm @.@

Thanks smet :3

Day 20
Hmmm still struggling with the characters in this scene. Had a pretty major idea on how to move forward (and even managed to write most of it down =D)
Also I committed the cardinal sin and edited what I wrote. It doesn't read very interesting atm siiigh

Day 21
So far, more editing and more clarifying. No progress on actual writing tho. Hm. Also since Aet so kindly reviewed the first Part of Chapter 1 I guess I should start looking into pictures for the second part... (But odds are I won't get the second review for a while so no picture hunt required! =D)

For now, I just hope I can move past this scene by the end of April. ...why do I have flashbacks to Starcraft...

DON'T TEMPT ME. (Though, ahhhh, why did you make the text pink???)

It's LAVENDER XD
You're saying that Zoe's chosen colour does not spark joy? :pirate3:

Each narrator has their own little colour and I like looking at the manuscript with its overwhelming pinkness all the beautiful colour diversity.

That said, petition to activate April Fool's mode when necessary? =D

Day 21
Progress Report:
More editing! More cowbell! More planning! A new sentence! *grumble*

Day 22
FINISH THIS STUPID SCENE. I NEED TO SEE IT DONE ARRRRRRRRGH

You'll hate JP's yellow then
“Are you serious?”
“Completely.”
“You’re telling me that you'll get to sleep on a king-sized bed while we have to share a tiny room with two bunk beds.”
“I want to sleep on top!”
“Tommy, you’re not helping.”
