New little lore drop for those who couldn't make it tonight: The Blight! Silv and I were brainstorming the Ordavin Keep infiltration and thinking about what technologies/proof the crew could steal from the Keep before they escape, and Silv came up with this:
Some implications: - The queen triggers a new outbreak, and puts the blame on Maggie/Emil/Julian. They're captured and locked up in the Keep not just to keep them from spreading "lies," but also as a guise to keep Ordadians safe. Upon their escape, the queen spreads the word, with orders to kill them on sight lest the Blight spread. - When the greater population of Ordadus finds out that the nobility has had a cure this WHOLE time, there will be national outrage. Cue rebellion. - Ilaria potentially became sick with The Blight when she was younger and doesn't know why she was magically cured. - Aurelia would have also at least known someone close who was killed by the Blight. - The Cambios have limited reserves from medicine they've found on shipwrecks.
