This storybook is a retelling of the Cinderella story (based on the Perrault version) which is told by the supporting characters. So, Cinderella's POV is not covered at all and instead her story is told through the eyes of everyone around her.

Some notes about the characters:
- The prince wants to marry for love. The king wants him to marry someone suitable for the kingdom. They compromise and that's why a ball is decided upon, since the king wants to make sure that his daughter in law is presentable and not some sort of wretched street urchin.
- Upon rereading the fairy tale again, the fairy godmother... actually seems like she lives with the family? That's why Cinderella is so comfortable about approaching her. So whoever the godmother is can play around with that aspect. ^^
Official Plot
We will be breaking the story up into parts to organize it a little more! Everyone is expected to post at least ONE post per part. ^^ There are six parts in total!
I: The Introduction
Basically, introduce your characters!
II. The Ball Announcement
Word goes out throughout the kingdom that the royal family is having a ball! Massive preparations ensue... both by the royal family and by Cinderella's family. Also, the godmother gets an idea...
III. The First Ball
The ball! The stepsisters go to the ball, the godmother prepares Cinderella for a ball, the royal family watch over the ball and... who is that stranger that is coming in???
IV. The Second Ball
By now, the mysterious stranger is expected to come... but when she leaves hurriedly and leaves a shoe, there are more questions than answers
V. The Shoe
The royal family decides to use the shoe to find Cinderella by doing a massive search! The stepsisters get excited. The godmother decides to make sure that Cinderella gets a chance.
VI. ...and they live happily ever after!
Concluding posts! According to Perrault version, even the stepsisters get a happy ending! All is well.
