Spooktober Jack-o'-lanters
Greetings, fellow pumpkin-carving connoisseurs! Have you come to share your art with us all? Wonderful! Please feel free to share any images below of the pumpkins that you have ruthlessly plucked from their brethren, cut open, and scraped clean in order to scrawl a silly face onto its back and display it on your porch with a soft glow from within.
... what? Is it weird to describe it like that?
Anyways! Feel free to share any photos of the jack-o'-lanterns you have made this month. If you can't, or choose to not, make one, fear not! I have found a really cool website online that you can use to make an artificial jack-o'-lantern!
Use this website to make a jack-o'-lantern of your choice! You can draw something by hand, or if you have shaky hands like me, you can use a stencil! They have some already included on the website, just click the "stencils" tab at the top of the webpage. Alternately, you can use this website to make a text stencil!
Some advice, though - if you want the jack-o'-lantern website to fill in the carving, you need to click the "options" tab on the stencil website and make the text black by clicking the "fill" option and selecting the black color. That way, when you save the stencil and upload it to the jack-o'-lantern website, it will fill in the carving instead of leaving it as an outline.
If you choose to upload other kinds of stencils, please just keep in mind our site rules and make sure all images are family-friendly! I can't wait to see what you guys create! Happy carving!
