So, now that we have everyone, I wanted to explain the plot a little more and explain what I mean by the 'supernatural':
I'm highly basing this RP off the movie: The Flatliners and the book: Vicious. I'm basically combining the two.
When your character gets resuscitated, they will be stuck between the afterlife and the real world. Meaning, they can see supernatural beings, like ghosts and/or demons.
They can't speak to these beings, though. The 'supernatural' are there for one reason, to absolutely torture your character (sorry to say, but it's true xD). For example, my character, Natayla, killed someone by administering the wrong fluids. So, whenever she's giving fluids, after she gets brought back from death, she'll relive that moment over and over and over again. The people they interact with on a daily, will sometimes become the person they hurt. They won't be able to tell the difference. Many other things could happen that I won't name ;)
This whole process is done by the Supernaturals because they are trying to decide whether you deserve to die, or if you deserve to live.
Here's the thing though: It's up to you, as the writer, to decide this. I think it'd be interesting if some characters never came back from the illusions and ended up allowing the Supernaturals to engulf them. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe 1-2 out of the nine did. In the movie, there was only two of them left-- but we don't have to do that at all. I'd like to leave that up to ya'll. :D
The only way to get rid of the Supernaturals is to admit what you did, and like Kate mentioned above, the best way to do that is to confront the people your crime effected. If the person is still alive, you'd have to confront them. Or if the're dead-- their families. Or, another option would be to quit Medical School and admit your wrongdoings to the dean-- which will ultimately put your character in jail. But, our characters won't know how to get rid of them until it's almost too late.
They'll have to do through their daily lives, work, and school, all while experiencing this. And with the powers involved, it will get pretty crazy. I'm expecting this to be an extremely psychological Storybook. And I'm super excited. <3

Ley I'm thinking of doing a neurosurgery resident so she would have messed up and like fully paralyzed people!
Also thinking of making her power something nerve related but I'm not sure exactly what yet.
I was thinking along the lines of possibly being able to manipulate/influence their growth.
Yes this is a secret plan for her to eventually confess to her crimes and maybe attempt to heal the people she paralyzed while working with sleep deprivation
