It's gonna be hilarious and epic. Super excited.

Before Sirejj's staff gets destroyed we need some slugthrower action because his metal staff in theory should be able to deflect the bullets. Watch that startle his opponent.

"It's no longer him I'm concerned about." After Vader, Tarkin didn't seem all that frightening. Deep down Sirejj knew he was, but his presence was dwarfed next to the hulking black dark lord of death himself.

That would be sick as heck. I say we do it. Maybe someone gets ahold of one of Tarkin's guns?

"Vader rattled you pretty badly, didn't he?" she said, studying him. The wheels in her head were turning. "Most people are disturbed or put off, but I'd wager you were terrified from the beginning. May I ask why?"

Perhaps. There's time for it. Not sure when he'll lose his weapon.

I wonder if Maul would know of the Treacle? He himself has plenty of experience in the crime world and runs Crimson Dawn. It would be something if their factions had conflict later down the road. Especially if he felt Sirejj crossed him.

"Most people can't feel his presence the way a force sensitive can." He wasn't quite ready to go spewing all of his insecurities. He was still angry that Vader had terrified him so.

I expect so, yes! That's a really good point--I keep forgetting about Crimson Dawn but that would be a great plot point later.

"Ahh." Thalassa nodded. "I've not had the privelige of meeting many of you. There was Dooku, of course..." She trailed off. "That was a shame. He was a good man. And there was that young Jedi as well--I only met him briefly, while Wilhuff was recovering from his time at the Citadel. He'd been about Garoche's age, I remember...too young to be a general, in my opinion."

There's gonna be some cool stuff happening that's for sure.

Sirejj had met few Jedi. He'd managed to kill one. He'd thought at the time it was an insignificant incident. He'd been wrong.

"Did you know the Count?" Sirejj's interest piqued. He wished it had been a Dathomiri who'd killed Dooku. He deserved it after sending the order to wipe out his people.

"Oh, we both did. He was a friend of Wilhuff's family--we all had dinner a few times. He was a better politician than he was a Jedi, in my opinion." She glanced at the door. "He visited Wilhuff shortly before the war broke out to ask if Eriadu would stand with him, you know. Wilhuff was having none of it."

"He was wise." Sirejj's voice sharpened like a dagger. "Many worlds that sided with the the Sith were all but destroyed."

"No need to tell me--I know. It was all I could do to keep Phelarion from falling to the Separatists." She sighed heavily. "Dooku agreed to leave Eriadu and Phelarion in peace, but that didn't stop his lackeys from trying to snap them up. That whole war was an utter disaster for everyone involved." She paused. "Well, except for Chancellor Palpatine. He came out of it quite well."

Hey to break Sirejj's staff later on down the line we could have the three inquisitors come back. We can beat him up and then have Tarkin save his hide again with his slugthrowers to their face. . They're goofy enough to fall for that.

"The emperor." Sirejj muttered. He was beginning to truly think about all he was up against. "Did you know him well?"

That's absolutely perfect

"I know anyone on Coruscant who matters," she replied with a smirk. "But I didn't know him very well, no. He and Wilhuff were close--too close for my liking. The man's slippery as oil; I could never get a good read on him. He had connections, that much is certain. There's no way he'd have been granted so much authority otherwise."

"Hm." That would be an interesting conversation for later. "Does the Governor know you are here yet?"

She gave him a wide smile. "No."

"He and Vader were going to talk. I think I should speak with him before that." Sirejj wasn't sure if that'd make things better or worse. It might make Tarkin nervous if he knew Vader was prying and compromise his thoughts. Regardless, Sirejj had to ensure their stories matched.

"That seems wise. Do let him know I'm here while you're at it, and if he's upset with you then I'll take care of it. There's no way he's going to have a good reaction to my arrival."

Sirejj took a couple steps towards the door. "I'll mention that last." He smiled slightly. "Hope he doesn't have a habit of shooting the messenger."
