NaNo 2023: Loosely Lawful Universe

Lol I will be overseas for about half the month in November, so my goal is just 30k words in total for any projects related to Loosely Lawful. So, you know, 1k per day hopefully.

I took a page out of @Messenger's book and have started writing in-universe literature (and non-fiction lol) as a way to get the creative juices flowing, so if I work on that I'm happy too.

Uhhhh... is there anything else I'm supposed to put here? Lol this is my first NaNo surprisingly.

And this is your NaNo thread so you can do whatever you want with it! Some people put their PlanMo stuff in their threads or other planning they're doing. Some people do daily updates during November or weekly updates for accountability. Some people post snippets during November. Some people share character art or other visuals they've created. Whatever makes you happy or feels most helpful!

@Carlito I'm going to Taiwan to finally see my mom's side of the family again after *checks watch* six years haha. The pandemic really altered the travel schedule.

Eyyy somehow managed 2666 words today. Don't tell anyone but I maaay have done a lot of it while at work. I can't wait to be transferred so I have actual things to do.

Didn't quite get 1k words today but that's okay I'm at 4830, so I'm ahead of schedule still.

I wrote 1165 words today, bringing my total to 8118! Wooooo! 30k was definitely the right choice for me. I feel like I can keep this up all month. Hopefully now that I've recovered some backlog on Loosely Lawful I will start posting it again soon. : D

10415 words! Hit that 10k with a couple days to spare.

Wow! 1770 words today to bring my total to 12185. Nanowrimo website says I'm 41% of the way to 30k. (Don't tell anyone but I wrote it while on the clock at work.)

Also, this is not really reflective of the characters, but I was scrolling through my art archives to send samples to a commission patron and stumbled on this thing I drew years ago haha. It fits the vibe of the story lol. Maybe I'll make a new version that is actually for this novel.



...I need to start maps too.
