Cults, abuse, death, murder, harm to children, homophobia, ableism, mental health struggles, spoilers for Not My Circus (though i doubt im gonna finish it lol)

First, this starts back in the lab we saw in the beginning. Remember how there were notes in two different handwritings? One was Harrison Sullivan, the guy who created Molly, and the other was…. *drumroll please* Francis Valentine, who was trying to create portals into other worlds! They had planned to work together, bc Harrison was better at science and Francis was better at talking. But Francis got jealous when Harrison was able to create life (while his own experiments had failed), so he killed Harrison out of jealousy (this is why Molly is obsessed with violence, because it was one of the first things she was exposed to). Francis’s portal does work eventually after many years, and he finds other worlds to explore. And uh somewhere along the way starts a cult, idk, I guess he gets a bit delusional and believes himself to be a living god.

And now we get to Romeo! Romeo is the son of Francis Valentine and Rosaline Sidus-Valentine. Francis intended to make Romeo the next Supreme Raven… but many tragedies happened. When Romeo was young, he and his mom were victims of a house fire. Romeo survived (with major scarring and amputation of both of his legs), but his mother sadly passed. Obviously this gave Romeo PTSD later in life, now he has an extreme fear of fire. Francis becomes much more controlling and awful towards Romeo after this event.

While Romeo was in the hospital, he made friends with the son of his doctors, Kierian. Kierian was born into a family of doctors and his parents wanted him to become one, too, but Kierian has a degenerative disease that causes him to become more blind over time. The two have grow up together and are the best of friends… maybe a little more. They’re so hopelessly in love with each other, but they can’t be together bc of homophobia. Kierian whispers about ‘the day they get to leave,’ but Romeo always shushes him in fear that someone might be listening.

One day, Francis dies due to his old age. But the higher-up Ravens don’t want anyone to know that he died, because he was regarded as a living god. So Romeo is suddenly forced into his position as a leader and is pretending to be him. Romeo’s been put under immense stress, especially with the news that someone is coming to stop him—and possibly kill him. And the ghost of his dad is haunting him to make sure he’s doing his job.

Romeo puts on this standoffish persona because he doesn’t trust most people & doesn’t want them to get close. But, underneath that, he’s really just a traumatized teen who needs rest and safety. He has very low self-esteem & believes that the bad things that happened to him were his own fault. Also, he treats himself as an able-bodied person despite his multiple disabilities, and pushes himself way too far all the time. All in all, I want to wrap him up in a blanket and tell him everything will be okay 🥺🥺🥺

One thing you need to know ab Convulsing Nurse is that she has no backstory, and you’re kinda meant to make your own. Which I did, hehe. Also I’ve named her Constance, or Connie for short.

Now here’s the story (I haven’t gotten it completely worked out btw): Connie & Grimm were a happy qp couple (probably college age I think), with Connie hoping to become a travel nurse, and Grimm wanting to be an archivist. BUT, THE HORRORS STRUCK!! because Connie was in the wrong place at the wrong time & she got CURSED and turned into some undead zombie thing!! I haven’t figured out the reasoning yet? I’m thinking that she was wrongfully cursed, like there was a vengeful spirit who mistook her for someone else that they were seeking. I also think it should have something to do with the First Aid Kit animatronic.

But anyways, Grimm is devastated and is attempting to save Connie and get revenge on whoever did this to their love. Oh and they’re also stuck in a time loop, where Grimm must watch Connie die over and over . Eventually Grimm does find a way out of the time loop though, which is to stop trying to save Connie and just let her pass (albeit, being by her side so she’s not alone, and bringing all of her favorite things). Grimm figures it would be better than keeping her alive any longer, or fixing her up and making her live with the trauma. Which is what the second drawing is about.

Also fun fact, the second drawing is based on a dream I had, where it was the end of the time loop, and I wrapped a blanket around Connie and told her to go to sleep. 🥺🥺 GAHH i love my girl <3
