Nahi froze. Did... did Shara just... pick them up in a bridal carry? Huh? What? When? Who?

Shara held on out of instinct. It would be rude to just drop Nahi on the ground wouldn't it?

Nahi looked up to see who had tripped them and wanted to die immediately.

"Bosch."

"Chosen weakling."

Shara tightened her grip on Nahi. This dude looked upto no good.

Nahi sighed. "Can we not do this today? You know we can't be roommates."

"As if any fool would want to be roommates with you."

"Heyy...I'm roommates with them. And I think they'd be a fantastic roommate," said Shara frowning at the moron.

"We don't know if we're roommates yet. And can't you take one day off, Bosch? Please?"

"Begging for mercy. Wow, what a chosen one." Bosch made a face.

Shara huffed. "I'm putting in a special request if I have to."

Nahi sighed. "I'm just trying to avoid unnecessary confrontation."

"Wow, so noble."

Shara huffed. "Dude, beat it."

Nahi flushed. "Justice is not a bloodthirsty pursuit."

"Spitting nonsense is all you can do chosen weakling. Trying to bore the monsters to death are you?"

Shara hissed, a small swirl of black smoke starting to swirl at Bosch's feet. She gave him a very pointed look.

Nahi did not like the looks of that one bit. Nope. “Okay, okay. Can we all just… calm down a little bit? There’s no need for anyone to get hurt.”

"Mmm hmm..no need for anyone to get hurt," said Shara, keeping her voice neutral for the moment.

Bosch growled and moved to slap Nahi.

Nahi felt the hit land, flinching and falling silent.
