"Yes." Ky nodded firmly.

"Aww, come on!" Jerica whined. "It'd be so fun to get to herald together!"

"No, it wouldn't," Ky scoffed, looking at her. "You need to get Strithr to leave you alone, too."

"Fat chance."

"You should follow her advice," Myna said grimly.

Jerica huffed. "I said I need to think about it. We'll see."

"Think about it, then."

Jerica nodded, not sure what else to say about all this.

"Good, that's settled, then. Meet with me and the Drummers soon, though."

“The Drummers are leaving,” Jerica said.

"In a couple days, yes."

“Two,” Jerica corrected. “So, what, you want us to come back tomorrow?”

"That would be appreciated." She nodded.

“Alright.” Jerica nodded. “Can do.”

Ky gave a little sigh but nodded. “Okay.”

“We’ll bring our uncles too.”

“We will?” Ky furrowed her brow.

“…Maybe?” Depended on how much they pissed her off when she told them, she guessed.

"All of them?" She frowned.

(Oh oops that was supposed to be “our” not “your”)

“… I thought you said it was a family thing?” Jerica looked at her in confusion. “So we want both, yeah?” Even if she was still mad at Derik.

"It could be a family thing, yes. So probably bring both. Best to let them know what could be happening."

“Yeah.” Jerica nodded.

“So… you mean… like… family as in blood?” Ky clarified. “Because I’ve got more family… more uncles… than Jer does, what with my situation and all… I don’t think Gaius would be willing to come back to town, though. Not after last time…”
