Rana made it to her room quickly, keeping her angry tears in, but only barely. What an absolutely terrible way to be awoken. She took a moment to brace herself, figuring her servants would probably be destroying her room in obedience to her father’s stupid fucking orders.
(Do you think any of the servants would be sympathetic to her? In canon most of the servants tried to stay out of it but she had a few who recognized her father was out of line and offered her as much friendship as they could. Like. If she spent the afternoon in bed crying for example (not that she’s going to now lol, just an example) if her dad asked for an update of what she’d been up to then her attendant would offer a softened ‘she spent the afternoon resting’ or something to give her as much privacy as she could without putting herself in danger from his wrath. I guess I’m just trying to see if she’d have cautious friends among the staff or if she’d be oppositional to them as extensions of her father)

(I'd say there'd be a couple but a lot of them just kind of tolerate nobles and try very hard not to be involved. She'd probably find more sympathy with one of the other reputations, like Shea or Aisling)
Servants had indeed entered her room and already had most of her clothes packed up, especially the warm winter outfits. They were also loading up makeup, toiletries, books, and anything they thought she might need.

She morosely walked over to her chair and sat down, pulling her knees up to her chest and burying her face in them to wait for the servants to leave.

Rana petulantly began putting on a trouser and vest combination. It was embroidered and looked ridiculous and wasn’t nearly as comfortable as the trousers she was already wearing. But. Well. It was better than a dress.
