I've already lowkey tested the waters, but would anyone be interested in joining a Cute Mutants roleplay? If you haven't already seen me scream about it, CM is a book series by the wonderful SJ Whitby that's all about mutants here on Earth. It's heavily inspired by the X-Men, at least in the earlier books, but by the most recent ones it's definitely become its own thing. This roleplay would definitely be set around the time of those recent books, since the worldbuilding is more defined then and the world/canon characters are more fun to play with.
The plot is still iffy, but theoretically everyone would get yeeted into the world through mutant shenanigans, team up with some canon and maybe not canon characters, and then all of them would get to go home.
