“Mm…” Ky hesitantly stepped away, trying to gauge whether he felt better or not. At least a little? Maybe? Hopefully? “It was very interesting. I still enjoy it, on the whole.”
Not sure she’d be going back though. At least not on her own. Not now that she knew there were ghosts hanging around. And that Michael and Septimus might be some of them. She didn’t want to see them. And she didn’t know what she’d do if she did. At this rate, she almost wouldn’t be surprised f she did, given how the past month had gone for her. She hoped not, though. And she hoped that if she did have to see them, then she’d have the courage to say ugly things to them.
And that they’d leave her alone once she did.
She’d lose her shit entirely if they started following her around, passing through walls and locked doors and removing the safe haven that her bedrooms had been acting as. It’d be terrible.
And she hoped it wouldn’t ever happen.
