(I really like that! Do we wanna talk through them both in the pms?)

"The gods had nothing to do with it."
"The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that." -Karis Nemik

"So they can keep staying out of it like they've been doing, if they even exist." She adjusted the straps on her mask.

"My earliest years were spent in the halls of Ceceron's temple, I cannot help feeling that they are real."

(Awesome!)

"Hm. I suppose that's as good a reason as any."

"Certainly. Religious zealots have bad reasons all the time."

"They have bad motives, bad interpretations, but I wouldn't call their reasons for believing in the first place 'bad'."

She shrugged. "I don't give a lot of leeway to that sort. It's against my nature and against my upbringing."

"I suppose we just differ in that way," he said, "Though I am not too inclined to defend those sorts either, so at least we can agree that they, themselves, are a cultural bad."

She nodded in agreement. "Most definitely."
The doctor returned with two samples in a glass vial and offered them to Kivvien.
"I hope these suffice," the matron said to him. "If you need to come back then please do; I'll help in any way I can."

(So we're introducing F and B at the end of the rp?)

(I guess so, unless you'd like to and have a way to introduce them sooner)

Kivvien produced a small wooden box from an inner pocket and opened it to reveal the inside lined with straw. He took some off the top before indicating the doctor to place the vials in the box while she spoke. He replaced the staw atop the vials and closed the box, muttering a spell to seal it before stowing it away.

"Of course, I will request any further help I need, otherwise I shall leave you all to your work. I do thank you kindly for your help."

(I have no preference; I'm just famously bad at crafting the end of roleplays. I say we just put them in when it feels right)

"And thank you for the work you're doing." The matron rose and offered him a gloved hand to shake. "I'll remember this."
