(It looks like in our initial planning the 'warlord' isn't actually in control of the demon army. Like, they gave the command 'destroy' and wasn't able to make them stop, decimating their own lands. It's ambiguous if they're still alive at all, but if they are they probs wouldn't be opposed to what our guys here are trying to do)(I've got a few ideas for the character if you don't wanna play them, but i also have an idea for how we could both play the 'character')

(I was thinking 'tough figurehead' + 'background influence' type dynamic for the villains. We wouldn't necessarily have to have a 'dumb' + 'clever' thing, just one is more public and the other is more inspiration to the first, if that makes sense)
