“I…” Ky froze. What was she supposed to say to that? She doubted she could get away with a ‘that’s not my decision’ — but was a ‘I think you should do what you want’ illegal now, too? Did she actually have to have an opinion? Did she actually have to share it? She shrugged.

“I… think there is a significant amount of risk,” Ky said carefully. Gods, sharing her opinion was hard. She was trying to be careful of not being careful with what she said and it made things complicated and hard. “But I also think there is a significant amount of risk to staying here. So.”

(Breh this gonna be a long night haha I haven’t been sleeping this week so tonight I was like I prolly won’t fall asleep but hey gonna give it a try. Did this maybe 20 minutes ago. Just woke so terrified my pulse is elevated from a nightmare. It has been. Twenty. Minutes. And pls stahp ;-; )
Ky looked at her for a moment and slowly nodded, actively trying to stop having an opinion so that she couldn’t be asked for it. She was already tired of this game.

(Meh… It was literally forced lol but I managed to get upwards of 11 hours as was my goal. Just kept waking up. That was thankfully the only one that panicked me to that degree. Like all the others were stressful but that one idk what it was. I was like trying to put my field gear in the truck and it’s pitch black and I can’t find my headlamp so I’m fumbling around trying to find my phone to use that light and I can’t do that either so finally I decide to just let the tailgate down to throw my gear into the darkness and that’s near impossible with my gimpy wrist but I eventually manage to lower it and as I do this dark animal maybe like he size of a wolf or smaller snarls and shoots past me into the darkness. I can’t see what it is or where it went. Obviously terrified. And then it starts circling the truck snarling so I can hear it but still can’t see it to know exactly where it is or what it is. So I creep along the side of the truck and can’t get the door open even though I have the keys and I was getting increasingly more scared and the animal was getting closer and I could feel it’s eyes on me. And finally I get the door open but can’t get in and the animal charges and I just see these glowing red eyes running at me at full speed and woke up just as scared hahah)
Ky perked up instantly, even more excited by that offer than she’d been at the offer to leave the dining hall. “You could?!”
