I thought of completing the trials in three stages: identification, correction, and integration.
Stage I: Identification Subjects go through various tests and scenarios to figure out their flaws to better conquer them—some range from simple personality tests to complex virtual realities with a group. It wildly varies.
Stage II: Correction Subjects go through correcting their flaws, often through painful means that can include hypnosis, shock therapy, solitary confinement, etc. If one shows no signs of improvement within a certain amount of days, they are eliminated from the experiment.
Stage III: Integration If a subject successfully makes it through Stage II, they take a series of tests to integrate into an imperfect society without tarnishing their flawlessness. This is usually the most demanding stage, as it requires intense self-sacrifice and has the most at stake.

Yes, I was thinking that! Some people ahead of us, some behind, and soon doomed for failure. Most of them would be one-off's that we can share, but if you want to make a neighbor or something that frequents our little duo, that'd be great too!
Also, I must say that I already love Sadie. The sarcasm I detect is immaculate.

Alright. I have an idea for one now named Michael. He's mid-stage two and puts it upon himself to act as a mentor for Alex and Sadie. However, they only see him at mealtimes since he works in entirely different rooms.

I love the duality we have here. Meyer with his wacky self and Emily weirdly stilted and almost inhuman. Quite the back and forth.
