It’ll definitely be interesting XD Berwyn’s not going to try to manipulate her but I could definitely see her trying to manipulate them and it just… not working lol. Or at the very least, Berwyn going “oh, she’s trying to manipulate me! Go off I guess” and not addressing it at all.

I was rereading Berwyn’s character profile and I love how I accidentally totally made partying and acting immature Berwyn’s unconscious coping mechanism for having the day job of torturing people. Like, Berwyn is completely comfortable on the surface and doesn’t really fully have the developed empathy to feel bad about what they’re doing, but for some reason they’ve got this weird feeling that’s so unconscious they don’t even realize the connection between starting having to do that and drowning every night in partying and just making themselves so overstimulated that they can’t even try to think. Like, Berwyn starts doing it on their own at age 17 and sUdDeNlY out of nowhere that’s when they start acting like this dumb popular jock who parties all night and everyone regards as immature and is constantly lazy?

Aaaand Emily is finally here. She's sort of an AU fanfic character of mine that felt perfect for this and so I adapted...which is why there's a ridiculous amount of history. I hope she manages to survive being with this lot.
