P.S. A little worldbuilding update I did~ in which I finally come up with more hero companies and figure out which one William leads.

Spoiler
Hero Companies
Average size of a company - 3,500 (some infantry, some cavalry)
Miscreants (aka the Grey Hound Company) - 3,000, a bit on the smaller side, with very high cavalry:infantry ratio
colours: black, grey and ochre
(the first two colours are for the coat of arms and the clothes, and the last one is just for clothes)

The Lions (aka the Sable Steed Company, but they thought their name wasn't cool enough so they made up a new one) - 3,500, about average, and average cavalry:infantry

The Seafolk (aka the Red Crab Company) - 4,000, the largest company, with high cavalry: infantry
flag colours: grey, bronze and red (carmine is allowed for clothes, etc. cause it's not rose red)
- everyone knows who they are, they have the best branding
- led by Ariga the Crab

The Witchfielders (aka the Sage Stallions)
- 3,200
- low cavalry: infantry
flag colours: green, black and grey
- kinda infamous for being a weak link, but they know Wiitchfield and its surroundings like the backs of their hands
- led by an archer (and swordsman) called Farley, who's just barely keeping it together

The Bold Hundreds (aka the Brown Robin Company)
- 3,800
- low cavalry: infantry
flag colours: yellow, bronze and dark grey
- famous for being furiously strong and fearless despite their few cavalry
- effectively led by a sword-wielder called Ashley, who tolerates no disrespect
- their official leader is William, but he's semi-retired because of Guild Chief duties
