Alrighty, I'm putting together a character profile and I've got some questions in regards to demon anatomy, and the lore surrounding demons (in particular, which things you're wanting to use and which to disregard).

So firstly, what's the average life-span of a demon? If it changes based on the variant, I'm thinking specifically of Ruby.

Also, do demons have a 'human-looking' form? Demons are often categorized as fallen angels and most depictions of angels have them able to look like a human if they choose. Basically, I'm asking are the wings retractable and able to be hidden, or are they there all the time?

My final question I'd say I have at the moment is are demons prone to get implants as well, or is that something that only humans typically do?

Great questions!
#1: Slightly longer than a humans, around 125 is a good age to die. (Archdemons are way older though)
#2: I hadnt thought about this, but I should have. I would say that you couldnt. But if you have a special character idea, then go ahead and use it. If you are wanting to do a ruby, then their wings may be retractable, but they cant change their skin color.
#3: if a demon gets an implant, they lose their abilities, except for rubies. But normally, demons have disdain for such things.

Well, I like the idea of it. I always liked the idea that you would die and have paperwork to do. XD
Maybe DS(damned souls) could be in a separate island of he'll and the corporation on the main island is the filter. Making sure souls go where they need to.
I'm not sure what it could be called though.

Im not entirely sure, but im leaning towards a diamond demon. That or a human with a pet hellhound. :p
