"Huh... momma never told me that... um..."

Patton was starting to feel a little dizzy, a little tired...

Above, a squirrel accidentally dropped an acorn, which landed on Patton's head.

"Ow-!"

That snapped him out of it. Patton looked up, rubbing his head.

Janus silently thanked the squirrel and finally let go of Patton.

"...Shall we continue on to the field?"

"Oh! Sure!"

Patton smiled. The two of them walked to the field. He was glad that he'd get to do this with Janus one last time.

Janus smiled softly and nodded.

And so they played for a long while, just as they had all those years ago. But, sooner or later, Patton blinked. He stumbled on his feet, eyes clouding. And with a heavy sigh, he fell to the ground, eyes fluttering shut.

"P-Patton...?!"

He realized what was going on.

"...I need to take him to the wizard..."

Janus picked up Patton and went with him to the wizard in the woods.

"The curse came sooner than expected to my friend, and I know you're the curse expert according to my father. What do I do, sir?"

(You decide who the wizard is)

Virgil sighed. He examined Patton, drawing some blood and such.

"...True love's kiss. That's the only cure. You better hope he has someone he loves, otherwise I'm not sure if he'll make it..."

Janus ran out and came back eventually with someone dressed in dark blue.

"This is whom I was talking about."

"I have already been informed of the situation, but are we sure Patton will consent to me kissing him?"

I mean, sure? It was kind of to save his life, sooo...
