What is a collab poem? I am guessing it is a poem where you write it with someone else and it is both of yours, but just to make sure.

@hannah0528, thanks for asking! A "collab poem" is short for "collaborative poem" so it is a poem that you write with one or more other people! :) Often they are written in Poetry Jams which are poetry write-ins focused on writing poetry. If you'd like to write a poem with another person you can post a comment on your wall asking if anyone would like to collab or jump into a write-in and ask. There's often people who love to write that way! :) It's a lot of fun.

NaPo has Arrived

Hey, you successfully made it through day one of NaPoWriMo and survived all of YWS's April Fools Day pranks! Well done! I'm proud of you!

If the inspiration is running dry, don't forget you can check out our poetry prompt collection over in the NaPo Prompt Central there's no joke around 100 prompts in there. And if you have another collection of prompts you'd like to share, feel free to post them in that thread.

You can also post encouragement for your fellow-NaPo goers in their own threads (if they have the "comments welcome" tag) or general encouragements over in this thread or even give a special shout-out over in @starlitmind's NaPo Shoutout Thread

ps. it's too early to be behind! if you forgot your poem yesterday, pretend April is starting today, you still have plenty of time and I know you can do it! Good luck!

@ChieRynn gotcha! Your thread's been added ^^

I was wondering, is there any way to change the tag on my NaPo thread? I changed my mind about taking comments on my thread ;-;

Hey, I was wondering if it's too late to make a thread?

@SmudgeMudge not at all! NaPo lasts April long so you have plenty of time to work towards the different badges and we'd love to read your poetry.

For counting towards the badges? Hmmm if after revision it feels like a new poem I'd say yes! :) Though I think the "spirit of napo" is creating new content (but there's no reason that can't pull from old content I suppose).

I hope I’m poetic and interesting and insightful and inspiring and fun and entertaining and all of those wonderful, beautiful things
