It's been more than three days since my post, so I opened up the keyboardist slot. I still need to write my first post, but I'll start with a wall post advertising that this storybook is looking for a new writer. If worse comes to worst and we can't find one for awhile, we can have the new keyboardist joining late being one of the major plot points! c:
okay i submitted my character I haven't used minnie yet so i have a feeling this will be pretty fun! I was planning on using amoku again since i love him but . . . i don't really envision amoku with an instrument so . . .
Minnie looks great, @yoshikrab! I can't wait to see how our full band interacts.
Now that we have all of our characters in, it looks like we can officially start posting! I'll kick things off with a post from me, but it might be a little bit before I can actually get it up - I have school starting again on Tuesday.
@yoshikrab, thanks for the poke! I underestimated how much schoolwork I'd have this semester, so it probably will be another week or two until I'm able to get that post up. I just need to get into the groove of things with my classwork. c:
In the meantime, though, I'd be happy to scheme out some things for this storybook! Any ideas on what we definitely need in this storybook?
i think we should (if this isn't an idea already) specifically try to FIND instruments, you know? Since this world is supposed to be almost void of music, we can do it to where there were some ancient composers who left behind their instruments and the characters have to go get the intruments.
Oooh that's an interesting idea, @yoshikrab! I was thinking that Allegro had the musical instruments but just didn't have people talented enough to play them, but I love the idea of them having to track down their instruments - we could even use it as a bonding experience for the cast. The one downside I can see is that it might slow down our pacing a bit, so we just have to be aware of that while we're having them chase after their instruments. c:
