Greed glared at the pair approaching them and sipped their drink. "I don't actually care," they said to Andrew, "Let him get trampled on the tavern floor."
Andrew felt anger rise in his chest, who did Greed think they were? He slowly exhaled, it's OK, there's probably a good explanation for all this, he told himself. "Um...Greed, listen I know you don't care, but can you at least tell me what happened that lead to you holding his phone so I can assess the problem." Andrew said. Than Andrew hear someone say "we believe this guy is probably in trouble." Andrew gasped "what is going on" he asked.
"He passed out - hey, barkeep, there cynaide in this?" The barkeep shook his head. "Well then get some!" Greed rolled their eyes while the barkeep went to retrieve the almond-like flavoring and turned their attention back to Andrew. "I don't know what happened to the guy, and frankly, I don't care."
"Look it may be because of draco operationem erroris so I need to know the events that lead up to his...passing out to determine if giving him his medication is smart" Andrew explained.
"Well I don't know darling," Greed said smoothly, "So how about you do whatever science mumbo jumbo you humans so adore to figure it out for yourself, hm? It's certainly none of my concern."
"This isn't any mumbo jumbo, but yes I suppose I could try to figure out what happened, but that takes time, time we may not have. So please, I'm begging you, if you could tell me what happened it would greatly help."
"We can help," said Harry, quickly, realizing quickly that Greed wasn't going to do anything to help. "Could you just give us the number you're calling?"
"Or not even that, just stand still for a couple of seconds," said Jennifer.
Stay Safe The Princess of Darkness
Hello! You? Yes you reading this. Have a nice day because you're wonderful and you deserve it!
Andrew nodded "alright, that's fine, completely understandable. I'll just do my own thing. I should hang up now." Andrew ended the call and turned to his computer. He begin typing away, humming to himself as he worked.
Greed leaned on the counter, slowly sipping at their drink, before finally chancing a glance back at the unconscious guy.
He was convulsing on the floor, surrounded by a growing crowd of concerned patrons. Someone shouted to put something in his mouth - something about his teeth - while someone else suggested moving him onto his back. People kept doing that, bouncing ideas around like it was group discussion time at book club, while no one did anything. Anyone who tried to touch him was pushed away by someone else who thought they had a better idea of what needed to be done.
Greed sighed and got up.
They entered the crowd, swirling their drink in their hand. Someone tried to hold them back, but then their drink was over that guy's head, and he had chemical burns to worry about instead.
"Beat it," Greed snapped at the crowd.
As they began to disperse, Greed got to work moving him onto his side and shooing away any lingering spectators.
